"Sir, Mr. Kang just left your room." It was In Joon's secretary.
"Okay! Did he sign them?" In Joon's face turned dark as he waited for his secretary to answer. The playboy like In Joon was gone and a cold and aloof In Joon sat in the Aston Martin DBS.
"Yes." The secretary replied and In Joon's face turned into an unreadable smile. "Good! Get all the work done, then!" In Joon instructed and hung up the call.
As the secretary heard the disconnecting beeps, he thought being confused "Who is this woman for whom CEO Lee sold his position, not only that he gave all of his property?"

Later at night, Ji Ah waited for Min Hyuk to arrive home. While at school she had called him many times but he hadn't answered even one call. Every time she used to give him lunch, he used to call her saying that he had eaten but today... Ji Ah felt Min Hyuk's behavior weird.
She did not know why he was acting so different towards her. It was breaking her heart.
It was almost 9 yet, he wasn't home. Today's weather also changed abruptly. It was sunny in the morning and now, it was raining heavily with loud thunder. She started to become worried as her thoughts started to turn astray.
Suddenly, she felt the need to quench her thirst. She got up from the sofa and reached the kitchen to grab a glass of water. As she filled the water and started to drink, the lights went off. Ji Ah trembled but then she decided not to worry because it was her own house.
She drank the water while staying rooted at her place. After quenching her thirst, she steadily walked towards the sofa to grab her phone. That is when she heard some rustling coming near the entrance. She quickly searched for her phone on the sofa and when her hands touched something hard, she picked it up.
She then, heard some footsteps coming from the kitchen and she hastily opened the flashlight of her phone.
Pointing the flashlight towards the kitchen, she saw a silhouette of someone and she shivered. "Min Hyuk? Is it you?"
Ji Ah sneakily took steps towards the kitchen. It felt weird, the person wasn't at all moving from there. Cold sweat started to form on her forehead as she opened her mouth to ask again "Min Hyuk... Is it you? You are scaring me..."
As she took another step, she felt the person turn around and Ji Ah took a deep breath. It was Kang Min Hyuk!
Ji Ah walked towards him without any worry and hugged him. "I got scared for a while." She embraced him tightly and rested her head on his chest.
"I was worried when you didn't respond..." She looked up at him and in that darkness, she blindly kissed on his face.
In this stormy and dark weather, Ji Ah wanted Min Hyuk to be with her and she was happy that he was with her. Ever since his distant behavior since today, Ji Ah was feeling afraid. Her thoughts were flipping in the wrong direction.
But now that she felt his warm embrace, she smiled as she had nothing to worry or think about.
"Let's have a divorce."
But as she felt that everything was good... She heard something which she had never expected to have heard before.
"What?"
Min Hyuk pushed Ji Ah away and held her by her shoulders. "Let's divorce, Ji Ah!"
"What are you saying?" Ji Ah was taken aback by his words. What was he even saying? Why a divorce all of a sudden?
She again went and hugged him tight. "What sort of a stupid joke is that, honey? Ahh! I was almost shocked." She gave a light laugh to lighten the atmosphere.
However, Min Hyuk pushed her again. "It is not a joke. Let us divorce. I will get the paperwork done... Empty the house within two days, okay?"
"Honey... Stop joking like that." Ji Ah still wasn't able to believe his words. It was making a huge impact on her yet, she was trying her best to maintain her calm composure.
There was no way that he was gonna divorce her. They had even promised that they would be staying with one another forever! So, there was no way that he was gonna break the promise and ask for a divorce.
"Think however you want! But I need this house empty within two days." Min Hyuk ordered and turned around to leave when Ji Ah caught hold of his arm. "What's wrong? Why are you behaving like this?" These were the only words that escaped her wide opened mouth.
Min Hyuk removed her hand away from his and took one last look at her. "I got what I need. So, I don't need you anymore."
"What??" With a thump, Ji Ah fell on the ground. As she saw him walking, she crawled towards him and held him by his legs. Min Hyuk rolled his eyes and stood there waiting for her to say something.
He tightly clenched his fists as he heard her. "We made a promise to stay together forever. What about that..."
"The hell with that promise. I'm done with you so, empty the house and leave." He shrugged her off and walked away with a cold look on his face. Ji Ah couldn't believe what just happened. As his words rang again and again in her mind, she felt that it was a dream.
But why was this dream feeling so real? With trembling hands, she pinched herself only to realize that she was hurt and that this was all a reality. Her mind started turning into a chaos and she felt her eyes spin. She felt her complete body weak so, she thought of taking some rest.
She tried getting up but her legs had already given in so, she lied down on the cold floor and rested for a while to get rid of the pain.
Ji Ah didn't know for how long she slept or, if she had even slept or not because when she woke up, her house was still dark. She could see nothing due to darkness.
With a heavy head, she got up and stood straight.
'He didn't come back?' She asked herself. 'If he had come back, he would have taken me inside the room.' She again thought and steadily walked, where her legs were taking her to.
