Chapter 12 - Her Anger Didn't Last For Long!

"You think so too?" Seo Young asked surprised.

"He looks familiar but I can't recollect anything about this." Ae Ra explained as she took another closer look. With a frustrated look on her face, Ae Ra threw the report on the table. "Ahh! Whatever. It is really annoying. The more I look into it, the more deeper it gets." Ae Ra sighed.

Looking at what happened today she couldn't help but give up on her revenge. But it was her only father how could she do so? Besides it felt like it just happened yesterday, she wanted to make her father rest in peace by avenging for him.

Seo Young tapped on Ae Ra's shoulder and gave a comforting smile. "It is better if you go back home and reconcile with him. I don't want you to constantly have fights before you guys are even married."

Ae Ra thought for a while. "I think it is better for me to get married. He has waited for so long." Ae Ra decided of giving in. She thought that she would marry him and after marriage they both would focus together on avenging her father.

Saying that she grabbed her bag and got up. Giving a tight hug to Seo Young, Ae Ra said "Thank you for helping me! You are the best person I have ever met, Seo Young!"

After letting go of the hug, she left the building. Standing at the entrance of the building, she took out her phone and called Yu Shik.

*TRING**TRING* One bell rang and he didn't pick *TRING**TRING* Another bell rang and he still didn't pick. *TRING**TRING* After the third ring, the phone was put on voice message.

Na Ae Ra looked at the screen of her phone. "That is weird! He never puts his phone on voice message." She again called and the call wasn't received.

Giving a sigh, she walked a little further away from the building in search of a taxi. She looked here and there in search of a cab. "Looks like there are no cabs over here for now. It is better if I take a bus." She said as she saw a bus stand few steps away from her.

'Let's just hope that the bus comes real quick, so that I can reach home before him.' She excitedly thought and took long strides towards the bus stop. As she finished playing a level of Plants Vs Zombies Game in her phone, a bus came. She took the bus and sat at the corner seat of the last row.

Another man climbed in the bus after her and he sat in the middle row. After the two boarded in, the bus started. Ae Ra closed the game and again called Yu Shik. The phone was again on voicemail. Instead of hanging up the phone, she spoke through the voicemail... annoyed.

"FINE! If you are not gonna pick any of my calls then, I too won't be picking any of your calls! BYE!" She angrily said and stuffed her phone inside her bag.

Thinking that after threatening him he would call her, Ae Ra slowly took out for her phone and waited for his call.

A minute passed, but there was no call...

Another 5 minutes, still no call...

Another 15 minutes passed, the bus came to a halt. Ae Ra was so busy waiting for his call that she didn't realize that the bus had arrived at its final destination.

The bus driver said as he stopped the bus "This is the last destination, Miss!"

"Ohh? Okay. " Ae Ra said as she got down from the bus. She looked around and saw that the bus had stopped at a convenience store, a few blocks away from her home.

"So, you won't call?" Ae Ra asked as she took one last look at her phone. It seems like she wanted him to call so that she could say that she was sorry. She so much wanted to apologize for her silly act.

Giving a deep sigh, she kept her phone inside her bag and entered the convenience store. It was still 6.30 in the evening. Yu Shik always came home at 8. So, there was still time for a newbie like Ae Ra to cook.

She thought of what to prepare and picked a few ingredients for her dish. She picked some onions, few tomatoes, a packet of sausages, green bell pepper, sweet potatoes, ketchup, cheese and a crate of eggs. And of course, she didn't forget the Raw Beef!

After buying all the things, she went straight to her home. She kept the bag of groceries near the shoe rack and removed her heels. She changed her footwear into slippers and carried the bag of groceries inside the living room. Throwing her own bag on the sofa, she hurriedly dashed to the kitchen.

Tying an apron to her waist, she one by one took out all the ingredients and washed them. She was good in cooking but it was Yu Shik who had told her not to cook because he had said that he would be cooking for her everyday. And he also cooked for her always. Ever since the day one of their relationship, he cooked for her.

Whenever she was on her monthly days, he bought various stuffs for her to sit and eat. He even took leave for her to spend his time with her on those days, yet today it felt different.

It was her first day of work, she found some suspects regarding her father's murder, she found a clue, she found a friend who was going to be with her forever, yet the person with whom she had spent a lot of time that only person wasn't with her. It completely felt different.

They fought for the first time and this was the reason for their fight.

"Aish! Cooking really takes a long time." Ae Ra said as she closed the stove after stirring the sausages for one last time. She looked at the time. "OHH MY GOD! It is 7.55. He will be here anytime soon."

She removed the fried sausages and beef curry in two beautiful white plates. Arranging the table with a new tablecloth, she decorated the table with some white and red flowers. She had bought the flowers yesterday from the flower shop down her building.

Since they hadn't gone out on a date since a long time, Ae Ra decided that she would have a candle light dinner with him today. She kept two candles in between and a big bottle of red wine.

After setting the table properly, she took a picture of it. "This looks so fantastic!"

Ae Ra had a feeling that Yu Shik would not be mad with her for so long just like how she forgot about being mad with him and had decided to cook for him.
