"DADDYYYY!!!" An 18 year old girl cried hiding behind the pillar. She cried as she saw a man brutally hitting her father. She wanted to go and stop but, her father had told her not to come unless and until he told her to come out.
She stood there watching the man kill her father. The man had his face covered with a black mask and his eyes were hidden by black sunglasses.
She couldn't even identify the man's silhouette as there was no or very less light. She was able to see him stabbing her father brutally. As the man finished his purpose and got away, this girl went to where her Dad's corpse laid.
She knelt down in front of him and cried. "DADDYYYY!!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME AND GO!!!" She rubbed her father's hand trying to wake him up. But all her work was futile. Her dad laid there motionless, with no breathing. Blood spilled from his mouth and from the places where he was stabbed.
Unknowingly, the man came again. Hearing his footsteps, she immediately ran to her hiding place when she tripped.
She yelled as she hit her jaw. She somehow, crawled but the man had already seen her.
"I can't leave any evidence." The man spoke in a harsh voice and lifted his knife to stab her.
The girl closed her eyes imagining that her death was near "Ahhh!!!"
Na Ae Ra got up from the bed with beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
"Another nightmare?" A soft concerned voice came from beside her. When the lights were on, she realized that she was in a different surrounding.
'It was a dream!' She sighed.
Choi Yu Shik poured water for her and gave her. "Here, drink it!"
Taking the glass, Na Ae Ra sat there thinking. She was still shivering from her nightmare. Taking a wet tissue from the drawer, Choi Yu Shik wiped her forehead. "It's okay! It was just a dream." He held her hand and rubbed it "I'm here with you!"
It had been four years since Na Ae Ra and Choi Yu Shik's relationship. Na Ae Ra was now thirty year old while Choi Yu Shik was thirty-two.
Na Ae Ra had lost her father at the age of eighteen. Being raised by her father since her childhood, she was in a panicked state after seeing her father being killed right in front of her eyes. Choi Yu Shik was Na Ae Ra's psychiatrist. He was the one who treated her and bought her back to normal.
After loosing her father, Na Ae Ra's state was just like a woman with mental issues. She was never able to remember anything, or whenever she saw some sharp edgy things just like a pencil or a pen, she always used to get frightened.
Her levels of fright was so high, that she used to get high fever whenever she saw any sharp objects.
Without Choi Yu Shik, she was never able to get back to her normal state. Whenever he was around, she felt safe and whenever he wasn't there, she used to hide herself in the corner of the room afraid by everyone.
Years passed and Ae Ra fell in love with Yu Shik. She was very madly in love with him. A second away from him, she couldn't stay, not because that she was afraid but because she was madly in love with him.
Now, four years had passed and they stayed in a live-in relationship. They were to get married the next-month, that is, October.
"This time, the man was coming towards to kill me." Na Ae Ra said as she took a sip from the glass.
"Were you able to see him??" Choi Yu Shik asked.
Ae Ra shook her head and said "The man had his face covered, as always."
It had been almost half a year since Na Ae Ra got this kind of nightmare. Everytime, he was beside her to listen to her nightmare. And everytime, Ae Ra used to say the same thing 'He had his face covered.'
Yu Shik touched her forehead. He ruffled her hair and said with a smile "That is alright! You will find him soon. A person who commits a crime can never be escaped, he will be caught one day or the other. Eventually, his time will come."
Yu Shik kissed on her forehead and said "It is late now. Go to sleep! You have to get up early tomorrow! It will be your first day at the office." He smiled at her.
Ae Ra nodded and laid down on the bed. Tomorrow was a new start of her life, a beginning to a new journey. She was going to work in her father's company as the CEO. 4 years after her father's death, a man had come searching for Ae Ra. He gave her a paper which seemed to be her father's will.
Since, Ae Ra was still in treatment, she had given the paper to Yu Shik. Not much was written in the will, but it was stated that after his death all the wealth including the properties were to be given to Ae Ra and Ae Ra has to take the seat of CEO at her father's company.
An another year later, Ae Ra was mentally stable. It took 5 years for Ae Ra to be properly cured, yet she had these nightmares sometimes or the other.
Yu Shik helped her out in her studies and she was now a woman with a Masters Degree in Business Management. It took her 7 years to complete all her studies starting from an associate degree to masters. Nevertheless, she studied well and from tomorrow onwards, her new day as a CEO was to start.
She wanted to be capable of handling her father's company that is why she decided to study further. And she attained a Masters Degree. Now with all those properties and a huge house under her name Ae Ra was surely rich, but rather than taking all the property with her, Ae Ra donated it to the orphanage.
She was just happy living a normal life with Yu Shik. It wasn't that Yu Shik was poor, he was also rich but he became rich after earning money with all his hard work. He was a well known psychiatrist in the whole City Z.
Lying down Ae Ra looked at the man who was now switching off the lights. She smiled at him and hugged him. Yu Shik moved closer to her and bought her head towards his chest. And they both slept in each other's arms.
