The next morning, Ben woke up at 6 am. After doing his morning routine in the foreign house, Ben watched his stats with a smile at his face.

´I am so happy to be at level 17. I can be considered a human as strong as the weaker monster. I would have loved to have a better Resilience, but it can't be helped. It would be a bit early to be bulletproof. Hahaha… Can't wait to be the first bulletproof human. What a stupid though, if they shoot me in the eyes, the throat or even my testicle, I would still be injured.
That's why it is better to focus on speed. Humans just have a weak natural defense.
Our skin is naturally thinner and even if we could multiply its defence, it would still be weak.´
Just as Ben was thinking, a loud explosion took place. Looking outside Ben couldn't see, where it came from. Ben assumed that the military advanced faster than he fought. After his knowledge Begène had only been conquered two or three days after the incident. Now they seemed to bombard the stronger monster and sending troops to the center of the disaster.
Ben decided to already get rid of any object, which could cause him trouble in the future.
Going out of the house, Ben walked in the direction of Crozet. He needed around 4 km to arrive at the lake Léman, where he threw his handgun and the claw in.
Walking that distance would have taken about 40 minutes, but Ben just runned there within only 8 min.
He found on his way some dangerous-looking snake, but he didn't want to risk his life for only a bit more exp.
After getting rid of the weapons, Ben decided to walk in the direction of home.
He expected he would be taken home to the security border by some soldiers on the way.
Walking at the normal walking-speed, Ben found one hour later a few armored personnel carriers, followed directly by a tank. After explaining and lying about who he was and what happened to him, they brought him back at the nearest security post.
Thankfully they weren't attacked on the way back or Ben would have had to show his abilities. Arriving there, Ben thanked them.
After being again questioned and having signed a non-disclosure obligation, Ben could finally go home.
A part of him was dissatisfied with leaving so early, but at least he wasn't suspected of anything.
While taking a taxi for 5 hours, Ben had called his parents. They didn't discuss anything important. It was a typical exchange of a boy consoling his parents, while giving a minimum of information due to his supposed pledge of secrecy.
On the way, Ben slept a bit and searched for information.
They wasn't that many new informations connected to the Calamity:
-The dragon had been sighted over Italy and many people began to believe in its existence.
-France and Switzerland had been given support by other troops.
-The troops have been sighted to use tanks and even heavy bombers.
-Apparition of foreign animals in New York, Albacete and Manaus.
-Panic reaction of many countries
-The public pressures the UNO to give an update
In the last hour before arriving Ben called Efron and his game company.
His call mainly contained giving orders on how to react to the changes and also to prepare everything to create a new company.
GWF didn't sell anything so they weren't impacted by the tension.
LifeUp orders had been reduced considerably after the changes, but they weren't in danger.

On the other side of the call, Efron had just received new orders. Ben had ordered to prepare everything to create a company named Mirai Research. Not only did Ben give Efron more work, but he also informed him that he would take over the scientist & researcher, who worked on the drugs, and also all the buildings, which had been rented.
This wasn't easy for Efron. Althrough, Ben guaranteed that he would pay for the financial loss, it still made him feel uncomfortable.
´You little rat. You never stop using me. Just wait till the day I will make LifeUp greater than all your future companies. You will soon respect me.´
