Waking up at half-past 6, Ben put on his clothes, ate for breakfast his whole grain muesli, which is without added sugar, with milk, and walked to the train station.
As he was walking, he had a strong satisfaction, this morning he has strong muscle ache from yesterday's training. Nothing could make him feel more relaxed as his body screaming at him for good training.
´On days when I went out of the house for taking the last train, which would still arrive at the school station before school began, I would walk with his sister. Her biggest drawback is probably that she rarely is punctual, so she always takes the last train or she will arrive too late.
Today, I left the house 20 min earlier, because I wanted to have time to visit my school and maybe talk with classmates, which had to come early.
Another reason, why I left earlier was because I didn't want to take the same train in which some of my friends are. I don't really know what I should talk about with them, my memory gave me my old personality, which is clearly not as friendly and talkative as my young personality.´
On the train, Ben continued to read about Parkour till the train arrived at his station. Walking to the school, he felt quite melancholic about his school and his friends.
´I can't believe that I am going to school, I will meet there my old friends. I don't actually care that much about my normal friends, my regret is that I couldn't stay friends with my best friends, Alex Doperman and Tobi Schleswig, after we finished school we lost contact. It was just that everyone had their jobs or they study to focus on. Even after the calamity, I didn't look if there were alive as I couldn't really help them and I wouldn't be able to bear the news of their death.´
As Ben arrived at the room for the first lesson, he saw his two friends, Jonas and Amadeus.
Ben: „Hey, how are you, guys?"
Jonas: „We should ask you how you are feeling, I heard you were 10 days in a comatose state."
Ben: „I am feeling fine, thanks for asking."
Amadeus: „Why did you fall in a coma?"
Ben: „The doctor couldn't find the reason and just had some hypotheses, but none of them seemed realistic to me. Don't worry about me! What I am most curious about is, why you knew that I was in a coma."
Amadeus: „Ben, you missed for so many days, so naturally the teacher told us what they knew."
Jonas: „If you are looking for all the paper from the lessons, then you should wait for Alex. He gathered them, while you were missing."
Amadeus: „We were really worried about you, as everyone knew about it in our class, some idiots began to joke about how you would never wake up."
Jonas: „Alex and Tobi will be delighted to see you back in school. Did you send them a message to inform them about your wellbeing?"
Ben: „I somehow forgot to send it, hope they won't hate me for worrying to two days longer."
Amadeus: „Probably not, so how was your experience in sleeping for 10 days?"
Jonas: „Ama, you shouldn't ask such questions, it's rude!"
Ben: „It's fine, actually I don't remember anything, the doctor said that I was probably dreaming about something important as my brain worked hard while I was in a coma.
At that moment it was 5 min before school begins, so they heard the typical ringing of the school bell. Many of their classmates arrived, even so, Alex and Tobi. They happily greeted him and asked about his wellbeing.
Shortly after the math teacher opened the room and everyone sat on their respectable chair.
Ben was sitting next to Alex and Tobi in the middle right of the room.
After having set down, Alex gave a stack of paper to Ben.
Alex: „Here are all the paper we received in these ten days, they are perfectly sorted and most of them are already filled from Tobi and me."
Ben: „Thanks guys, you are the best!"
Tobi/Alex: „Yes, we are!!!
Teacher: „Silence you three, I will now begin with explaining the homework."
The lesson proceeded normally, Ben did his best to catch up on the rules and exercises. Subsequently, they had a short break, in which Ben quickly read through the paper he received.
The second lesson is Chemistry, they moved into a lab and began to listen to the teacher. Ben was next to Jonas because he could explain everything about Chemistry perfectly. Ben was enthusiastically asking questions about anything he didn't understand, he made a mental note to return the favor in other subjects.
At lunch break, Ben ate with his friends in the canteen, while doing that they could hear loud voices from the table by the window. The students at the table are five classmates, they could be considered as the cool boys of our class.
Their common point is that they all had parents with great jobs, which could clearly be seen by their shoes, their clothes, their smartphone, and their other gadgets. The most arrogant of them is Eren Müller, he had the richest family, the best grades from the boys and he had a good locking face with blond hair and blue eyes.
„So next time I feel bored in school, I just have to groan a bit and sleep on the floor, then I will go home and party for some days and coming back to school I just do as nothing happened."
„Seb, you don't understand, if you tried it, it wouldn't work."
„I was thinking what, the doctor would diagnose to Ben. Probably something like school fucked him in a coma."
„Hahahahaha. I can't stop to laughahaha... Help me I think I will faint from laughing!"
As Ben's friends heard that, they looked very angry at the other table, but they knew that this shouldn't escalate, so they comforted him the best they could.
Tobi: „Don't take it to heart, dogs are always barking, but never thinking. One day, Karma will strike them."
Amadeus: „Tobi is right, they are too stupid to understand, how serious coma is."
Ben: „Don't worry, I don't give a damn shit about what the whole school thinks. I am just thankful to have so many good friends with me!"
Everyone was shocked by how different Ben's reply was to what they thought would come. He sounded so strong-willed and serious, Nobody knew how to react to that, so they all quietly finished their lunch.
