Emmy pulled her immediately, and pushed her to sit down on the couch. She was so afraid for her bestie's life now. Her cold sweat dripping from her forehead down to her cheeks, thinking about what happened just now, her whole body shivering intensely.
" Elle, did you know you just provoke a lion king?" She said in firmed low voice, Emmy anxiously wipe her sweat by hand and her drunken state was gone.
When Shantelle went outside to finished the tasked, she sneek on the door with mouth agape but too late to pulled her over, she already kissed the wrong person. She's really asking for a death wish!
" Ohh? That guy? It's just some ramdom guys in this club." She wipe her lips with wet tissue from her sling bag like nothing happened.
" What!? What ramdom guys your talking, Elle? He's the multi-billionaire in S County! Not only that, he is well known for making people life miserable to those who will provoke or will against to him! And you are just did that thing you shouldn't have to do!" Emmy rub her temples in distress and mix up with anxious emotion.
Emmy was so afraid for her but for Shantelle, she just sitting and drinking the wine without worrying.
" Chill, Emmy. He's not gonna remember me. Okay? He only see me just a few seconds. Why make yourself to be restless." She poured again her empty glass and face John with her dark cold eyes.
John looked straight at her and his smiled faint when he saw her burning eyes on him.
" Eh... Shantelle don't look at me like that... I don't know about just happened earlier. It's accidentally, I never expect it, promise!" John trembling in fear and his body were sweating all over. He knows Elle very well. She is a short tempered woman. Elle also knows some martial arts since childhood. Her parents sent her in temple every vacation to learned and practiced Tai Kwon Do. Her parents purposely did it for her self-defense.
In middle school, many students afraid to provoked her that's why she haven't much close friends, until one day John got bullied in the street, when she passed by them and got hit when someone throws a bag on her.
She helped John to get rid of them and after that, John keep following her every day in school and buy anything for her just to get close and make friends with her.
Shantelle at that time, she was so silent type of a girl and her blazing gaze makes the people trembling in fear.
After the long run, she accepted John as her friend for one month courting her. Since then, they got along with and he find out that she's not that bad actually.
Back to reality, John swallowed continuously if only her gaze burned him, he already had been turned to ashes right away.
" Elle, I swear to the bottom of the earth and highest of the the galaxy. I never did it on purpose!"
"Cut the crap, John! Send someone here to drive me home." Shantelle said. Actually, in her own self she does know what the consequences she will receive if he recognized her in the nearer future. She let out a deep breath and calming herself on worrying.
At the next room...
Gavin close another big account and they sign up for the newly released contract for both parties.
" Mr. Chiu, cheers for the up coming successful launch of our new product." Mr. Tan clinked the glass to propose a toast.
Gavin never responded vocally, he just raised his hand with the glass of wine and meet his glass to make a toast. He only smile bitterly and gulped his wine.
Afterwards, He excuse himself to them leave early for some reason needed to settle then. He stood up and strengthen his coat and leave the place as soon as his secretary opened the door.
" Aries, have you done what I asked you to look for?" Gavin asked him in cold tone.
"Yes, Mr. Chiu! Here's the files that agent send me this morning." Aries hand over a brown folder from to him from his hands and Gavin carefully flipping till next page.
He's brows draw upward when he saw the picture on the folder. " She looks familiar..." He mumbled.
" Ahh... Yes boss. That girl was the one who won first place at the motor stunts we attended this evening." he explained. " She's Shantelle Tan the daughter of Mr. Tan you just meet here a while ago." Aries added.
After he read the profile, he gave back the folder to him and silently walk to the underground parking lot.
Aries opened the door at back and he hop in then he turned around to the driver seat. When the engine started, and drove away in the building. He reached out the folder and looked at it again.
" Looking forward to meet you, Shantelle Tan!." He smirked and a sinister smile place on his lips. Then he lean his back and closed his eyes.
