I leaned against the car window and fell asleep because of the smooth ride and gentle breeze but then woke up to something touching my left cheek. I opened up my eyes to see Reyhaan brushing a gentle hand on my cheeks lovingly.
"Sorry, I woke you up!" he said guiltily.
I straightened up and rubbed my eyes with a yawn, "No, it's ok! I shouldn't have slept at this time."
He forced a smile.
"Where are we?"
"The rural sides!"
I looked out of the window. It was a cloudy day, with no sign of rain at least for now, the sun couldn't be seen and trees surrounded the roads.
Reyhaan then halted the car on roadside and got out and opened the door for me. I kept staring at him, like he's the masterpiece of Picasso. That of course he is, a true gentleman, who can steal your heart very well.
He snapped his fingers in front of my eyes, pulling me out of my thoughts.
"Dreaming about someone else when with me? Ain't I being good enough?" he said with a playful glint in his eyes.
"Reyhaan!!!" I scolded.
"okay, I'm sorry!"
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Lunch?" he asked
"Here? How?" I enquired back
"Come on, climb on the trunk of the car."
"No problem, I can do that really well!"
Reyhaan shot me an amused look.
"So I conclude that the CEO has a masters in climbing cars?"
I ignored him and climbed up, he followed me with the same with a bag in his hands.
"So are you gonna open the food or are you planning on eating me instead?" I said bluntly and before I could realize what I was saying, it was too late.
He opened and closed his mouth about three times like a fish out of water.
An unknown glint passed through his eyes. He smirked and opened the bag with food and it was Pav-bhaji*
I looked at the food with love which Reyhaan seemed to notice.
"Your highness, do you like it?"
"I love it Reyhaan! Thank you so much.." I beamed at him.
"The pleasure is all mine,dear!"
"How do you know that it's my favourite?"
"If you're gonna keep questioning me, then I'm sorry I'll devour the whole dish by myself."
"No, wait, I'll eat first."
He served me the Pav-bhaji and squeezed some lemon into it, also he served me some raw onion as well.
"Just the way you like it Roop."
I was too hungry and eager to eat that without responding him, I started devouring the dish. While I was eating, I peeked a glance at him and he was watching me intently.
"What? Eat now or else your plate will be vanished too."
He chuckled and brought his hand to my lips and wiped it.
"Eat."
With this, he started eating too.
"Do you like it?"
*no_response*
"Hey foodie!"
*no_reply*
I was too busy eating that I ignored him.
When I finished eating, I looked at him and beamed in satisfaction.
"Ayyyee... look how you are eating!"
He looked at me for a brief moment and then concentrated on his food again!
"Like a silly pilly kittyyyy! Hahahahhhh"
He ignored me. I waited for a few minutes until he finished eating and then, moved closer to him, looking into his eyes deeply put my hands on his abdomen, took them to both sides and he was looking at me without blinking and then I,
started tickling him all over!
"Roop, stop! No... Pffttt... stop... haha" he pleaded in between the laugh-cries.
"Will you ever ignore me again?" I asked continuing to tickle.
"I will, haha,if you ignore me, haha...Roop stop!!"
"What did you just say?" I tickled harder.
"Sorry, hahahhh, I would never- hahahhhhh Roop- I would never ignore you!"
