Chapter 1 - Part One: Jay Westbrook Website

"Have you heard the great news", Grace asks me, while laying upside down on my bed, reading something on her phone. "Depends which one you're talking about. If it's about Madison leaving, then yes", I say laying next to her.

Madison Hooker. Okay well her last name isn't actually Hooker it's Hookerson, but it should be Hooker. Her reputation says it all.

Rich, pretty, blonde, and well....a whore. I know I shouldn't stereotype, but that pretty much sums it up. I hate her. No, that doesn't cover it. I despise her. She's a walking snake, a two faced snake.

We used to be friends, until she started hanging out with the wrong crowd. Now she's a TWO FACED-LIAR-DONT GIVE A DAMN BITCH-CRACK HEAD-VICTORIA SECRET AGENT WANNA BE. Anyways I hate her.

She recently announced that she was going to Westbrook University...the school I wanted to go to. I worked extra hard to get in, but unfortunately for me I was put in the 'waiting list'.

Madison on the other hand didn't even try. She skipped classes and school weeks at a time. Didn't study, just went to all the frat parties. For what, just to look "cool" and "popular".

But with her dad being the president of the Hookerson industry, aka the factory that makes toilet paper, she gets anything her excruciatingly tiny heart desires with a simple, "Please Daddy Please".

Grace laughs making her phone fall on her face. "Ow", she says, still laughing. She rolls over to pick up her phone, and shows it to me.

"What exactly am I looking at", I ask. She looks at the screen and giggles, "Oops, that's an ad", she say, clicking the small x button on the top right side of the hair growth shampoo ad.

She shoves the phone in my hand and says, "Here, I have to pee", I scroll through the website as Grace rushes to the restroom. The website was filled with pictures of Jay Westbrook, aka the famous 19 year old, who sang like a god. "Ain't he cute", Grace says plopping down beside me.

"All this website has is pictures of Jay", I say, looking once more at the pictures. "Scroll down", she says. I scroll down even further, and find an article.

----------

Reporter: So Jay, we've heard you've decided to leave your home, here in California, and go to college in Florida. Why was that?

Jay: I've been thinking about leaving California, but it wasn't until my dad established a university there 2 years ago, that I actually decided to leave.

Reporter:Which school is it?

Jay: Westbrook University.

"That's it. That's the great news", I say staring at Grace. "Aren't you happy, he's going to YOUR school", she says. "I don't even know if I'm getting in. And why would I care about Jay Westbrook", I say.

"I don't know maybe cause he's... FAMOUS", she says grabbing her phone back. "Look at that piece of candy", she says showing me a picture of Jay with a towel wrapped around his torso.

"You can't actually like that", I say. "How do you, not like that", she says showing me more pictures.

"Girls come downstairs", my mom shouts from downstairs. "We have a surprise", my dad says.

I glare at Grace, who just laughs, and run downstairs. Once I arrive downstairs my dad says, "Close your eyes". I do as instructed and suddenly I feel squirming on my hands.

I open my eyes and see a puppy! I look between my mom and dad who smile at me. "But you hate dogs", I say to my mom.

"Oh he's not staying", she says handing me an envelope. I gently began to tear open the seal when my mom says, "He's going with you to Westbrook University".
