"Only on one condition." Cheng told Garon with a strict tone. "And what would that be?" Garon said eagerly to end the conflict. "The moment I start my guild I don't want any trouble, and you give the same offer to my little sister Ling Lin." Cheng said wanting for people to not bother him or his family knowing his grandfather could handle himself.
"I think we can accommodate you on that." Garon said smiling as he nodded to the others that the decision was made. "You will carry a pin from each guild, with your rank on it just so you can have access to the facilities and you can show them to the elders to get resources or whatever you need. Come down to mine when you feel like give them your name at the front and they will have everything ready for you there." Garon said as he headed back to the city to prepare everything.
the other big five said the same as they turned and followed after Garon, only Cheng's grandpa stayed behind. "How did you become so strong so fast? If you keep this up you will surpass me soon." He said looking at Cheng in relief that he was now safe and had time to train and become stronger so this wouldn't happen again.
"Come to my guild first and train, once you become stronger then me go to the others. That way you don't have to worry about any of them stabbing you in the back.
'He has a good point especially if you leave for the other dungeons.' Rin said to Cheng secretly. 'It's something to think about for sure.' he replied.
"Cheng how did you gain so much strength in such a short time?", "I don't focus on leveling up through the system, I focus on cultivating myself. The level system helped jumpstart and figure out how to cultivate myself."
'Maybe you should train out here and build up your world then go back, and see what the guilds have to offer.' Rin said seeing that Cheng didn't want to fully go and train with his grandfather at all. 'I like that plan a lot better Rin.'
"I'm going to stay here and train a bit then I will come find your guild." Cheng walked back into the cave and started meditating again. Cheng pulled the sword off his back and put it on his lap, looking at it 'Why is this so special, It's so heavy. Guess it will have to wait.' Cheng thought as he started focusing on the energy he was absorbing. 'There's something we need to talk about.', 'What is it Rin?'
'If I cultivate here instead of outside it is possible I will slow down your cultivation speed, but that's where the dragon seed comes in if you cultivate with it you will become stronger, and if you learn to control the dragon essence in your body you can choose to transform or not and I can teach you.' Rin said explaining the situation of her slowed cultivation.
'If you could transform into a human maybe you could walk beside me instead and cultivate and we could work together. But I understand just be carful I do need to protect myself.' Cheng said as he tried absorbing more energy faster. 'I will absorb the energy at a rate my body wont handle you can cultivate with that energy and that will stabilize the energy I absorb. We can work together to become stronger.'
As Cheng Lee absorbed energy the little amount that Rin syphoned to help him make the energy more balanced, was small compared to what she could absorb if she was out in the world with Cheng Lee. She didn't complain If he became stronger she still benefited from it just as well as he would if she became stronger.
She didn't notice he was putting the energy into the dragon seed to grow it so he can learn the strengths of a dragon. She was busy training her skills and absorbing the excess energy once it built up. She could train her body through absorbing the energy but she didn't want to waste the energy on refining her body when she could refine her soul realm. She wanted to make sure she grew in strength just in case she didn't know why but she felt that she needed to grow stronger for Cheng.
But her strength was building quite slowly compared to Cheng, she was unsatisfied with this so she trained her body harder making her muscles denser and denser. After a while the excess energy that built up was becoming more and more since Cheng needed more energy to sustain his strength and her strength.
He was getting the hang of it learning how to absorb more rapidly and bigger amounts at that, he was able to absorb all elemental energy at once instead of just one or two.
Rin would let the energy build up then absorb it all at once strengthening her soul core she could feel her strength building tremendously faster now that she was taking the time to train her body herself instead of just using the energy she absorbed.
'Hey Rin I finally did it I have something for you!' Chang said as he floated in his spirit domain in front of Rin on his soul world. 'Oh what is it?' Rin was optimistic and confused she didn't know what to think since she didn't expect for him to bring her a gift.
'You gave me a dragon seed made out of the essence of a dragon, so I've condensed the essence of a human into a seed I don't know if you will become stronger if you decide to cultivate it but i do know you will be able to transform into a human and walk through the world with me instead of being stuck in my soul realm.' he said to Rin with a smile he felt accomplished he worked day and night for the past month on creating the seed for her.
She looked at it and absorbed it into her soul domain, she couldn't help but smile as a single tear fell from her face. 'ARE YOU OKAY DID SOMETHING GO WRONG!' Cheng said as he thought she might be in pain 'No its just no one has ever given me a gift and actually tried to be my friend.' she said as she felt joy that she had never felt before.
'I will train it build my strength and walk beside you in this world' Rin got down into a meditative state as she started cultivating the human essence seed.
Cheng on the other hand had been building up the dragon seed, It had grown roots and started to form a small sapling. He was able to feel a power surge through his body that had strengthen his skin and bones and now his soul realm. He could feel the ancient power of the dragons growing inside him, the only problem being it took a lot of elemental energy and time. He wanted to build up to the strength he had from there fusion so he could hold his own against the big five.
Cheng wanted to feel safe but as long as there are people after him and they find out who his family is he wanted to be able to protect them.
