The priest dragged me to the head masters office where I sit waiting to hear what they say, I was just meditating and now I'm in trouble. At least my connection with the light has gotten stronger and it is easier for me to cast light magic now. It's been such a long day I'm so tired, how long is this going to take.
I can hear people talking down the hall, it seems they are getting closer. about time they show up I've been here for a few hours now, as they get closer I can now make out the voices there's three of them one being Ling Lin, another being Priestess Liana and I don't recognize the third that must be the head master.
he opens the door and they all walk in, "it seems you got in trouble brother Chen" my sister said making fun of me. "it's not my fault I didn't do anything I swear" I explained.
The head master takes a seat at his desk "oh I see, so you don't know where you got the chair and the book of the first cultivator of light, both very sacred items."
"No head master the chair was just there, there was no sign or indication so i just wanted to meditate and see if I could learn something from the library."
"It seems boy you have been blessed by the gods, from now on to monitor your training i will be your mentor. I have a good understanding of what happened and your not in trouble one day you might find the answers you seek. We will start your one on one training first thing in the morning go and have some rest."
Ling Lin and I went to the living quarters to get some rest since we both start our training tomorrow, I'm pretty relived that I didn't get punished. To be honest it's more of a reward, I'm actually looking forward to this I wonder how long the training session is going to last, maybe I can go to one of the other places that person told me to go and train in other classes.
"Seems you plan on sleeping in huh, WAKE UP KID!!" SPALSH!! I could feel Ice cold water splashing my face, "COME ON WHO DARES SPLASH ME WITH A BUCKET WHILE I'M MEDITATING!!" I make eye contact with the grand master and realize he's come to start our training. "Sorry head master I was meditating is it already time for our training?", "Yes, and you can just call me master Wong. Lets go to the training grown's to see your potential then we can discuss how we will start your training."
Staying up all night meditating seems to have strengthened my connection with the light, not only has it grown within me my abilities seem to have a stronger concentration of light. we finally get to the training grounds and I'm just exhausted, "one moment master Wong and I will be ready to get started." hold out right hand, imagine a circle of light, and concentrate on the level of light "ENERGY RECOVERY" Ding! "energy recovery level 2"
Seems the more I train and use a skill the faster it levels up, well at least I'm full of energy now.
"Cheng who taught you that skill?"
"No one master I trained with priestess Liana and meditated under the blossom tree, and when i created the connection to the light i gained this ability why?"
"Well it seems you are very gifted indeed, the only way to get that ability is to gain the blessing of the cherry blossom tree. it signifies the renewal of energy through each season the tree stands, growing more and more." so it seems that's why i got the ability creating a connection to the light under the tree must have impressed it enough to give me its blessing. "I'm going to check your connection with the light now stay very still so i can get a good assessment."
Hmm, his connection should be like a small candle in the dark. what is this his connection to the light is stronger than usual, its more lie a small ball of light but that stronger of an average person who just created a first connection. Doing this will allow you to use ball of holly light a attack that deals heavy damage to your opponents the more light concentrated into the ball the stronger the attack will grow, this might take you a while to learn so once you master it or if you have any questions come find me in the church. It might take you a few days to learn and a few weeks to master so be patient."
