I stayed there on the ground and examine his every feature. I was lost in his light green eyes exactly like his parents. His dark hair was curly and a little wet like he just showered. He was so fair and his lips were red as blood and very tempting to kiss.
"Are you just going to stare all day or you're going to take my hands" he said with smirk.
"I'm sorry I wasn't looking where I was going your majesty." I said with a deep bow.
"It's fine I didn't see you as well, not really accustomed to anyone here so close to my locker." He simple said.
"Who are you I have never seen you here before?" Jake asked.
"Uh um I'm Navin Sukhoo, Lord Henry's grandson." I said looking at the ground.
"Wait you're his grandson, wow." He said with his eyebrow raised.
"Um yes, why did you say wow?" I asked.
"Oh nothing; so you're the guy all the servant and maids are talking about at home." He said.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked curiously.
"They said; you're very kind to them and they really like you and all wishes to be your personal servants." He responded.
I chuckled.
"I'm just being me, I guess." I said.
The prince then stooped down to pick up my timetable and text book. I stood there while he examines my timetable.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Just checking." He said not even looking at me.
"You and I have Math's now I see." He said finally looking at me and handing my books and timetable back.
"Oh" was all I said.
I collected my timetable and headed in the western side of the building not knowing where the hell I was going.
"Um you're going the wrong direction." he said.
I turned around and headed the opposite direction hoping I was going the right way this time.
"That's the wrong direction as well." He once again said.
"Come on." He said and took my hands in his and drag me along with him.
"Ouch your holding my hands too tight and slow down please." I demanded, but was ignored completely.
After a few turns we finally arrived at the class and we entered. The two of us stood in front of the class still holding hands.
"Hello I see you two have finally decided to join us for class." The teacher said.
"I'm sorry for being late." I said with a slight bow.
"You must be Navin Sukhoo from The Kensington Palace, welcome to the Royal School. No bowing is done here, here everyone is equal, well except for." He said and suddenly stop and looked at Jake looking intimidated.
The teacher then turned to the class and announced.
"Class I would like you to meet Navin Sukhoo, please Welcome him." He said.
"Wait you said Navin alone so is he not a prince?" a guy asked
The teacher looked at Jake and then at me a little lost for the right words. So I decided I will answer.
"No I'm not, I'm just an ordinary guy." I said shyly.
Some of the student laughed at little, but was quickly silence by the teacher. Jake stood there and said nothing, but still held my hand. The teacher then saw that Jake was holding my hands and raised his eyebrows and Jake let go of my hands immediately looking a little embarrassed.
"Well since you two seem close, Jake would you mind Navin sitting next to you or you still hold that policy no sitting partner for you?" the teacher asked.
"Its fine I could find another seat I do not wish to make anyone uncomfortable." I said.
"Its fine, besides the only vacant seat it has is next to me." Jake said.
He went to the back of the class and I followed behind him slowly. I sat at the window and took in the fresh air passing by because the tense situation; it really made me wanted it. Then turned and took a look around the class to me see some girls looking at me like I have stolen something from them. I raised my eyebrows and looked at Jake then back at them. They then turned their attention to the board, to my surprise Jake did not see anything he was busy coping the notes on the board. I decided that I will copy the notes as well, it didn't take me long to focus on the teacher; he was teaching Bearings my worst topic in math's, and I was trying my best to complete the exercise he gave us but I was doing craziness.
"Hey what's the matter?" Jake asked.
"Nothing." I said covering my book with my hands.
He smiled.
"You don't understand don't you?" He asked smiling.
I smiled and nodded; he then came closer and took my book. Too close rather I could have smelled his perfume and his mint breath every time he spoke. I was completely lost on him than to focus on what he is was saying.
"You can take a picture; it lasts longer you know. You're not focusing come on look here. Jake said with a smirk.
"Sorry I didn't mean to." I said embarrassed and blush a little.
"I'm fine I do not want to serve prison time for taking your photo." I said looking at his light green eyes.
He simple smiled and went on teaching me how to go about completing the exercise we had. Finally, I got it and was completely finished with all.
"Thank you." I said.
"No problem, I can tutor on that if want." He suggested.
"Really you would?" I asked rising my eyebrows; skepticism taking over me.
"I mean yeah I don't do much at home anyways beside music and hanging out with my friends at times." He said.
"Oh Please I don't want to be rude and take away your free time for my own benefits." I said.
"Oh god that's nothing , well maybe you can teach me something as well." He said with a wink and chuckled.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.
Before he can answer the bell rang and he got up.
"I'll see you, I got to hurry and meet my friends' bye." He said in a hurry and left.
I sat there still and stared while he exited the class. Suddenly three girls came and stood in front of my desk; the ones that were staring at me when I took my seat.
"I'm sorry; how may I help you?" I asked.
"Look here smart pants, you may have gotten to sit next to him and talked with him and whatever you did during math's period, but he is mine okay so back off." One of the girls said.
She was dressed with a short dress with a black shoe that gave her a little height. She had blonde hair with light blue eyes with pink lips and a face with probably three pounds of make-up. Her friends were no different; with one with short black hair and wearing a short skirt and brown eyes with some horribly done eye shadow. The other was average in height and had brown hair matching with her eyes, wearing a dress that was simple. She looked like she wasn't the rude type and she looks too innocent, just with a few pound of make-up. But looks can be deceiving; she took my books off of the table and threw it to the ground. I raised my eyebrow.
"Oh are you his girlfriend or something, because he told he's single?" I lied, just to teased her.
"I'm working on that." She said rolling her eyes and curling her hair with her finger.
"Yeah right, good luck then don't forget to invite me to the wedding please." I said and picked up my stuff and my book off the ground and left.
I got out of class and I sighted loudly and went to my locker direction. On my way there I saw Angel heading my direction.
"Hey, how was first period?" I asked.
"It wasn't that bad I meet a nice guy my sitting partner and you? Did you meet anyone?" She said smiling and wiggling her eyebrows.
"Yeah I did, but had some girls who were being a little rude because I apparently sat next to the guy." I said rolling my eyes.
"It has those type of B**** in this school as well, you want me to teach them how to lick my shoe bottom?" Angel said a little furious.
"No its our first day and you shouldn't be getting into trouble." I said chuckling.
Angel and I went on walking to my locker to collect my other books for English my next period. I told her that we did bearings and she knows how bad I'm at it. I told her; that the guy helped me with it and even offer to tutor me. She started to tease to me, nevertheless I did not tell her that it was actually the prince I met, neither did she care. She was just happy that I've met someone; a new friend. The bell called and I went to my English class, I got there and was introduced to the class again, this time everyone was very welcoming and there I saw Jake again. He signaled for me to come sit with him again and so I did.
"Are you following me?" he asked.
"why would I want to follow someone like you?" I said.
"Ouch that hurts." He said holding his heart.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean it in a rude way." I said feeling bad.
"Chill god you're so apologetic, relax not because I'm the Prince of Kensington you have to be so formal all the time; it gets annoying." He said.
"Oh." Was all I said.
The rest of the period went on and him and I talked a little during the period. But I was not so much in the mood anymore since I was told I was being indirectly annoying. The period came to an and we both got out of class together.
"It's lunch who are you eating with?" Jake asked.
"Um my best friend." I said.
Suddenly someone was on Jake's back playing around while a girl started to laugh.
"Hey don't do that man." Jake said.
"Who is this?" the girl asked.
She was fair in complexion and was about the same height as me around 5'5 with her hair rapped in a neat bun with beautiful jewelry on it. She had a little powder on her face that made her eyes appeared more grey. She was wearing a blue dress that was just below her knees.
"This is Navin Sukhoo my father's advisor grandson." Jake said while looking at me.
"I'm sorry; Su- what?" The guy asked.
He was about the same height as Jake. He was fair in complexion with straight hair that was a little above his shoulder. He had the same grey eyes as the girl making me wonder if they are related. He was wearing a dark jean with a white shirt with a silver chain around his neck.
"So this is the guy that you were talking about from math's period?" the girl asked.
"Yeah he is and after sometime you will get it Zack, its Sukhoo." Jake responded.
"Hello I'm Karina Princess from Cambridge and this my brother prince Zachary and Welcome to Royal School." Karina said.
"Hey what's up Navin Su-, I'm going to stick with Navin for now." Zachary said.
I chuckled a little.
"Hello Princess Karina and Prince Zachary and thank you for the warm welcome." I said with a bow.
"Call me Zach and there is no need to be so formal with us." Zach said.
I smiled and turned away and saw my best friend heading our direction.
"Hey what's up Navin?" Angel asked.
"Hey everyone this is my best friend Angel. Albert, Angel this is Prince Jake of Kensington and Princess Karina and Prince Zachary of Cambridge." I said.
"what's up guys?" Angel said.
"Hello" Jake and Karina said simultaneously.
"what's up indeed baby girl?" Zach said coming closer to Angel.
"Hey cutie." Zach said with a smirk.
"Get a breath mint." Angel said.
"Ouuu sassy I like her." Zach said.
"Forgive my best friend for being so insolent, excuse us we should be going to get lunch. Nice to meet you wonder people bye." I said and dragged Angel away with me.
We took the first corner and made our way to the cafeteria.
"You hoe didn't tell me your friends with Prince Jake." She insulted me.
"Yes he is the guy from math's period and I'm kind of friends with him now." I simply said.
"Zach seems to be very friendly with you." I teased her.
"Yeah right, that big headed creature." She insulted.
"Hey no need to be impudent, they are royals after all we are like cockroach compare to them." I cautioned her.
"Royal my ass, let's just get lunch I'm starving." Angel demanded.
I sighted and followed her to the cafeteria doors.
In the cafeteria, it was filled with students; Princes and princesses I should say rather. I followed angel and took some fires and burger with an apple juice. Now it was time for us to get an empty table. We saw one at the end of the room. So decided to take it, as we made our way there everyone was just staring at us. I was feeling shy and nervous angel on the other hand didn't mind them at all and just continued her way to the table. There we sat and started to eat our lunch, a few moments later Jake and his friends came in laughing and grabbing their lunch. I was following his every move, until he turned to face the room filled with students having lunch looking for a table to sit at. Suddenly he saw I was staring and I quickly turned away.
I could have felt his eyes on me, he was coming in our direction I heard a few person calling for him, but I didn't look up at all I just continued eating my fries. Suddenly someone dropped their tray of fries and burger and a cranberry juice on our table startling angel.
"Hello can we sit with you guys?" Jake asked looking at me.
Before I could have answered Zach took a seat next to angel.
"Hello there again little mushroom." Zach said.
"Hello" was all Angel said.
"Sure, please have a seat." I said.
Karina sat beside angel, making angel being the middle of her and Zach. Jake came and sat next to me making me feeling a little nervous.
We started to eat lunch again and converse a little. I found out that Zach and Jake were on the football team here at the Royal School. We got to know each a little more. Turns out Angel and Zach had something in common and that was the liking of animals especially cat. Jake asked if I play any sport. I told him not into much sports I'm more into music and writing. After lunch we went our separate ways for the next period. I had music and Jake had practice for Football. The rest of the day went well, after music class was History; Jake and I sat next to each other again and god damn he smelled nice. He showered after practice and then came to class. History went okay in no time school was over. Jake went to practice again, we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways again.
