sat on the bed and wondered if all this was a dream, trying to recall every detail.
I couldn't get that man off mind. I was thinking about him ignoring me at breakfast eventhough his eyes said something ironic to his behaviour. It was mysterious.
I spent my next few hours gazing into the balcony. The hot wind blew the curtains and lingered on my face.
I wanted to go out to the beach but i was noy ready to face Adrian or his people. I was furious and pissed.
Therefore i sat there enjoying the weather out in the balcony. I even skipped my meal. It was better to die of hunger than face them.
But the growling from my stomach made me eat the fruits kept in the room. It was enough to keep me going.

(Meanwhile far away from me)
Adrian: "Cole, I want to you take care of the girl. Make sure she has everything and dont let her near the meeting."
Cole: "alright boss. As your best friend can I ask you something?"
Ad: "I am listening."
Cole: "whats the deal with you and that ny girl?"
Ad: "why do you ask?"
Cole: "you know I can read your eyes. I can even predict your actions. Why dont you just admit it?"
After a long pause and death stare,
Ad: "fine, I like her!"
Cole: "there you go. It wasn't that bad right? I m surprised after what happened with Kiara, I didnt think you would ever feel for someone."
Ad: "I know. Neither did I. But this feels different. Hayley is making me feel things I never felt before.
I can say that she could even read my eyes. With that feisty attitude, adorable actions and her deep brown eyes, I dont think I have ever met someone like her.
I just met her yesterday and i couldn't take my eyes off her. I know that appearances can be deceiving, but the connection can't be. I even had her background checked, she is pure. I know she is a spitfire but its my spitfire. I…"
He suddenly noticed the weird grin on Coles face and stopped. Adrian face had instant regrets written all over his face.
Cole: "well I think someone has fallen in LOOOOVVEEE…."
(shows a weird act of dancing around Adrian)
Ad: "i know you are my bestfriend but I think you want a bullet in between their eyes."
Cole suddenly stops jumping and swallowed a small gulp. Adrian started to walk and he followed his boss but couldn't control his laughter and gets a smack on his head.
(back to me)
I was having thoughts on escaping the penthouse but the fact that it is a private island and it didn't stand a chance made me crazy.
I searched for my phone all over the place to call for help but couldn't find it.
I knew they took away my purse and
the fact that they didnt allow me to use their phones made the situation even worse. I knew they were not gonna let me go easily.
Suddenly I heard a knock on my door, but I didnt answer,
"please open the door, its me..Dave. pi..pinky from downstairs" he said meekly.
I opened the door to fink him holding a huge dress and a weird face with a fake grin.
I took the dress from his hand and asked him "whats with that face?"
"I..was just trying to be friendly" he rubbed the back of his neck in a shy manner.
"You don't have to be nervous. I don't bite" i replied calmly.
"I know.. Its just that.. I.. I dont know how to talk to women." I couldnt help but laugh to his cute reaction.
He let out a sigh of relief and said
"I thought you were going to think I am weird"
"well you are weird but adorable. I can live with that."
I must add that having this small conversation with this man made me feel a bit relieved and comfortable.
We talked for some time about the place and weather but was interrupted by a familiar voice,
"missed me too much?"
(and winked at me) and he was back! Ranger!!
I took the knife I had kept with me incase such perverts come visit me.
"oohh actually I did, and look at the gift I got you" i replied with a creepy grin on my face.
He had a terrifying look on his face and said to Dave
"you are alone in this brother; I am moonwalking out" and left.
We both laughed to his reaction.
" I kinda like you. You are adorable" i admitted.
"Thank you. This is my first time properly talking to a woman."
He checked his watch and said tapping on it.
"I dont want to make you late for tonight so I will meet you downstairs at seven. Todays event is Bond 007 theme and the essentials you may want are in the dressing room"
And left me to myself.
At this moment of time I didnt know what to do. I was trapped in there but i wanted to go back.
I was determined to find out a way tonight.
