The elevator doors opened and he saw the face of the woman he saw this morning. "Good Afternoon, Miss."
He still couldn't believe how beautiful this mortal body of Gadrial is. 'Is that why Uriel wants her? He wouldn't blame him but then again he said Gadrial was his soulmate so looks didn't matter.'
She was staring at him for a few seconds. "Good Afternoon, sir."
He grinned at her. "You seem happy, Miss." He felt the waves of happiness that overflowed from her, so something good must have happened to her.
He noticed that she was giving him a look over, he smirked inwardly.
"Yes, I had a wonderful day."
Samael stepped out of the elevator, "That is good to know." He walked past her and inhaled. 'Mmm, she smells of blood and war, the surge is nearing.'
Samael left the Saint Agnes apartment building, his eyes fell on a limo which was parked in the alleyway. 'Strange.'
He was supposed to go directly to Lillith but she wounded mind if he did a little detour. He walked to the alleyway, someone was sitting in the limo.
He licked his lips and slowly approached the vehicle. He stood next to the driver's door, the person wasn't even bothered to look sideways his eyes were fixed on a window.
Samael noticed that there was a mark on the left side of his neck. It was an angel that kneeling, holding its sword upwards, he knows this symbol very well. 'Raphael.'
Raphael was still not looking his way and Samael followed this gaze. 'Ahh.' Gadrial's mortal body appeared in the window and she was closing the curtains.
He saw Raphael taking out his phone, 'Spying are we?' When Raphael was about to send a message, Samael knocked on the window.
Raphael turned around his eyes widened with shock and he lowered the window. "My God Samael, are you trying to give me a heart attack?"
Like you can give an angel a heart attack. "What are you doing here Raphael?"
He put his phone away and opened the limo door, Samael took a step back as Raphael climbed out. "I do not have to tell you."
Samael grinned, "Oh, and here I thought we were friends."
Raphael let out a chuckle. "Friends? Hardly, you gave your soul to the female demon and denied our Creator."
Samael rolled his eyes. "Have I now? Strange I don't remember it that way. I didn't give her my soul, I gave her children."
Raphael spat on the ground. "You call those beasts children? You think the Creator wanted little beasties to run around?"
Beasties? He was sure Raphael could come up with a better name than that. "Look call them what you want, but as I have said. I didn't give her my soul as for the Creator, I was just tired of being his jury."
Raphael glared at him. "His jury? You were justice!"
Samael grabbed Raphael in front of his shirt and brought him closer to his face. "And you were my blade and yet here we are Raphael."
Raphael gritted his teeth. "You left me..."
Yes, Samael did leave him and it was probably selfish of him to do that but he wanted to be free, he was so tired of rectifying the sinners. He had started to believe that the sinners were innocent in their actions.
Because what was free will then? If free will was a sin then why were mortals created? "I did leave you and I am sorry."
Raphael's eyes hardened. "Do you have any idea how a sword is without his wielder?"
He didn't want to answer Raphael. He knew very well the other reason for leaving wasn't because of the Creator it was because he was in love with his blade. "Why are you still dressing as a man Raphael?"
She smirked at him. "After all these years Samael and that is what you ask?"
He let go of her shirt. "You were always the trickster. But I guess that had a lot to do with the fact that you are my blade and need to change as I asked you too."
Raphael didn't take a step back she was still taking in Samael's features. He hadn't changed in all of these years and that made her happy. "You know I always change when the situation calls for it."
"That is true." He took a step back from her, her scent was enticing him and he wouldn't hold back. After millennia she still had that effect on him. "So are you really not going to tell me what you are up to?"
Raphael placed her fingers on her chin and smirked. "I am sorry, Samael but I do not answer to you anymore."
So she found someone new? "Who are you working for?"
She ticked her finger in the air. "Tsk, tsk. That is on a need to know basis." She inhaled. "Why is your scent of the earth?"
Samael licked his lips seductively. "Because I am of earth."
She gave him a confused look. "So you are on neither side?"
He nodded and took another step backwards. "I am free my dear Raphael and that is the best feeling in the world."
She bit her lip, "So you didn't give your soul to the demon?"
Hasn't she been listening? He didn't give his soul to her, he only made a deal to get him freed from the Creator so when the time came and he had made his peace then he would have been able to confess to Raphael.
But that never happened, he was still too weak to confess his feelings. "I haven't given her my soul Raphael."
He saw anger flash over her face. Why was she getting angry? "Something wrong?"
She started screaming. "He lied! He lied!"
He took a step towards her. "Who lied?"
It seemed like she didn't hear him, "He lied! He lied!" Samael closed the distance between them and grabbed her shoulders. "Who lied?"
Her attention snapped towards him. "Moloch!"
His eyes widened, 'Moloch? The fucking bastard is moving?' His nostrils were filled with Raphael's scent, cinnamon. He shook his head to clear his mind front he thoughts of banging her right here and now. "What did he tell you?"
There were tears running down her face. "After you left heaven, he came to find me. I have been wandering around alone for so long and no one knew what happened to you."
He felt his heart breaking into a million pieces. Yes, that was selfish of him but if he brought his idea up with her would she have gone with him. "What happened then?"
She inhaled a small breath. "He found me at your house, that I have occupied since your disappearance and he told me that you have betrayed heaven. You sold your soul to Adam's first wife."
That Moloch was one tricky fucking asshole. He knew that she would be vulnerable and women who feel vulnerable are usually gullible too. "I didn't sell my soul to Adam's first wife, on the contrary, I have made a deal with her."
Raphael was calming down and her anger subsided. "What kind of a deal?"
Samael took her face in his hands so that she could look him straight in the eye. "I was to give her children and she would help me be free from the Creator's bidding."
Children? He gave her children? And then he would be free? But was he really free after he did that for her? "Are you still bound to Lillith?"
Samael couldn't help but to lightly caress her cheek. "No, she will only call on me when she needs help with something, other than that I am free."
Her lips formed a smile, she was happy that he wasn't bound to a demon and what she heard about Adam's first wife she was very beautiful. She couldn't form her feelings into words, she was just so lost without her master.
"I am so happy to hear that you are free but I am now bound to a new master."
He felt his anger rising, the problem with the situation is he was neutral and he didn't want to bound himself to a side and lose his freedom. Maybe he can find another way to free Raphael from her newfound master.
"Raphael," He lightly swept his finger over her lips, "Tell me who you bound yourself too."
His touch sent shivers down her spine, how she has missed his touch on her skin. She couldn't tell him, she made a blood oath of loyalty towards Moloch and by breaking it can mean death. "I can not tell you."
Those words were like a knife through his heart. That could only mean one thing a blood oath. He could find out through the spirits in the graveyard. "I will find out and then I will free you."
She closed her eyes as Samael's fingers went from her lips and cheeks downwards on her neck. 'Why was he doing this?' She let out a light moan.
Samael quirked an eyebrow at her moan, 'Does she want this as much as he did?' He leaned forward her lips were full and waiting for him. He brushed her lips with his lightly, 'She is not pushing me away.'
This urged him on, he kissed her fully on the lips now and she folded her arms around his neck. He parted her lips with his tongue and he placed his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him.
She tightened her grip around his neck and he pushed her against the limo. His right arm went down and picked up her left leg and placed it around his waist; he held it there.
His manhood was erected and pressed against her abdomen. Raphael suddenly pushed him back and he fell on the road; she was clutching her head.
Samael jumped up and took her in his arms and she screamed. "Raphael? Raphael?"
