Michael was smiling. He leaned back in his office chair and placed his feet on his desk. Christine applied to his ad. It was a good idea to have a lowlife angel hand out the pamphlets at her apartment building.
Michael wondered where Moloch was, wanted to tell him the plan was going well, and he - Michael made it happen.
Michael's thoughts went toward Gadrial and when they were in heaven. "Creator, I bring you some news."
The Creator nodded at Michael. "Not now, Michael. I want to show you my two new creations."
Michael wasn't interested in his playthings. He needed to tell him about the rumours. "My, Creator, please about the rum..."
The Creator gave Michael a glare that stopped him in mid-sentence. "You can tell me all about it after you meet them."
Them? What on earth did he create now? Michael looked past the Creator at two children who played on the floor. Children? Did he. . .create. . .angelic children?
The Creator moved beside Michael and placed his arm around his shoulder. "Meet the Angel of Healing, Gabriel and the Angel of War, Gadrial."
Michael didn't dare look at his Creator. Angel of War? But he - Michael was supposed to become the Angel of War? Michael walked forward as the Creator urged him onward.
Michael knelt down, the boy Gabriel looked up at him with big green eyes, and the girl shied away from him. The boy blinked. "Will I become strong like you?"
Michael's heart melted. "One day, you might be." He ruffled his light brown hair, and the boy giggled in delight.
The Creator stood behind him. "It seems the boy took a liking to you."
Michael paused. "Yes, it seemed he did." The Creator continued. "You will train him in fighting, but his skills will mainly be healing."
Then what good would it be? Why couldn't the girl be the healer? "Creator, forgive me. . .for asking - but why didn't you make the girl the healer?"
The girl looked between her brother, Michael and the Creator. Michael noticed that her eyes were pale-blue, so that was the only difference between the twins and. . .of course, their gender.
The Creator held out his hand, and the girl took it. "To answer your question Michael, have you ever heard the expression 'hell hath no fury like that of a woman's scorn?'
So that was what this was about, and he had heard it before. To rid hell with demons, blah, blah. Why did he want to get rid of the demons. . .so badly?
"I understand now, Creator." Michael ruffled the boy's hair again. Michael stood up and saw the girl was in the Creator's arms.
Michael felt an emotion he had never felt in his life. What do we call this feeling? Michael didn't like the girl in the Creator's arms at all.
The girl looked at Michael in pure curiosity. He gave her a smile and left the Creator to play with his new toys. Michael stood outside the hall.
Michael clenched his right hand in a fist. "Moloch said he would be in the heavenly garden. Maybe, he would know what this feeling is."
Michael turned to his left and made his way to the heavenly garden when he passed Uriel.
"Michael."
Michael gave Uriel a curd nod. He liked Uriel a lot. . .not because he was the 'voice of the Creator'. No, because he wanted Uriel in another way which was a sin. "Uriel, in your way to see the Creator?"
Uriel hesitated. "Yes, he called me to see his latest creation."
Michael chewed his lip, and he was always so awkward around Uriel. "Yeah, I just saw them."
"Them?" Uriel asked with a gasp.
Michael bit his lip. The way Uriel gasped made him want to push him up the wall. "Yes. I have to get going."
Michael ran his fingers through his hair and turned from Uriel. "Take care, Michael."
Michael gave him a wave. He had to get his soul cleansed. Michael entered the heavenly garden and noticed Moloch sitting on a bench with a book in his hand.
Michael approached him, "Moloch." Michael sat down next to him.
Moloch looked at him and closed his book. "That was quick. The Creator wasn't interested, I guess?"
Michael let out a sigh. "No, the Creator wasn't even listening."
Moloch placed a hand on Michael's leg. "So let me help you."
Michael's thoughts were interrupted by a knock on his door. He hasn't thought about Uriel like that in a long time. "Yes?"
His office door opened, and the lowly angel entered. Of course, he wanted payment for his small job.
"I am here to collect."
Michael took out an envelope from his drawer and placed it on his desk. "Here you are, angel dust. Just as we agreed on."
The man walked closer hungrily. "Thank you." He picked up the parcel and bowed.
Michael eyed him, "You may leave."
The man bowed again and left his office. No, it was a lie. . .he did think of Uriel like that again when he saw him in the cemetery. After two hundred years, Uriel disappeared from the battles. Uriel's body, the way his muscles flexed, sent Michael's manhood in overdrive. Uriel was only there to protect the woman he loved above everything else.
That only angered him more. Gadrial really took everything from him, his Title as the Angel of War and the Angel he wanted, Uriel. Michael shook his head. "No, I will not fall back on that."
It took Michael years to get over Uriel. Uriel was his enemy now, in his quest to take over heaven, so he could establish a new Kingdom, but he had to get rid of Moloch first.
Michael smiled. Yes, Moloch made him realise who he was. Moloch told him, "There is nothing wrong with being in love with a male; one should give in to one's lust."
So that day in the Heavenly garden, he made a pact with Moloch to overthrow the Creator. It was a plan that took years of planning.
Moloch took him under his wing, and that evening at Moloch's house was one that Michael wouldn't forget. Moloch tore off his close and stood back to admire him. "It is not wrong to love a male, my dear Michael."
Michael was embarrassed. He had never met someone who admired him. Moloch stepped forward, dragging a finger from Michael's neck down his torso and stopped by his naval. Michael's manhood was hardening.
Moloch grinned. "Such an impatient boy."
Michael averted his gaze. Moloch took his free hand and cupped it under Michael's chin, forcing Michael to look at him. "Don't be embarrassed about who you are, Michael."
Before Michael could react - Moloch kissed him and deepened the kiss by parting his lips with his tongue. Moloch moved his hand down and stroked Michael's manhood.
Michael felt hot, his manhood aching for release, and he placed his arms around Moloch and drew him in. Michael moved his hands, trailing Moloch's torso to remove his shirt; Moloch let him. This was a new experience for Michael.
They moved up the stairs. Moloch was out of his pants by then they entered his bedroom. Moloch broke from the kiss and pushed Michael onto his bed. "You are made to be more. More than the right-hand of the Creator."
Michael sat on his elbows and looked up at Moloch, who moved slowly towards him. "You have ambition - swear your loyalty to me, Michael."
Michael pulled Moloch down on him. He was tired of waiting. "I swear my loyalty to you, Moloch."
Michael couldn't remember what exactly happened after he kissed Moloch, but Moloch saw his ambition and made him realise. . .that he was created to be more than the right hand of the Creator. These words resonated in Michael's mind. Michael removed his feet from his table and looked at his computer.
"I should concentrate on tomorrow's interviews, even though I already know who will get the job." Michael grinned. "Your days are numbered on this earth, dear Gadrial."
