Uriel went down by elevator when he got to the ground floor, and he sped up his pace. He was grinning. Chrsitine said yes to dinner with him even though he was a total creep to her the day before.
Uriel wasn't sorry that he kissed her even though she was Lucian's. He walked out of the building and went to the grocery store.
When he entered, the store clerk that was always nice to him approached him. "Good afternoon, Uriel. You look dashing."
Uriel gave her a smile. "You think so, Sarah? I have dinner plans in two hours."
Sarah whistled. "Is it a date?"
Uriel averted his gaze from her. "I hope it would be."
Sarah winked at him. "Any girl that would say no to you should get her eyes checked."
Uriel smiled at her. "Oh?"
Sarah moved closer to him and placed her fingers on his cheek. "You are a catch, Uriel. I hope she knows how much effort you'll put in your evening, " Sarah removed her fingers, "So what are you getting?"
Uriel bit his lip. "I thought a bottle of Chardonnay, strawberries, cream and some chicken to make creamy pasta."
Sarah grinned. "Wait here. I'll go get some for you."
Sarah left. Uriel looked around the store and noticed a few girls giggling and pointing toward him. He didn't like the attention that much. Sarah returned with his things. "Here you are, hun."
Uriel took out his wallet and paid for the things. "Wish me luck."
Sarah waved as he left and screamed. "Go get her!"
Uriel returned to the apartment and took the stairs as the elevator would take a long time, and he needed to get everything ready. He got to his apartment, threw the door open and dropped the things in the kitchen.
Uriel took out the chicken breasts and put them on the counter. He proceeded to take out the past, strawberries and cream. Uriel took out a frying own, pot and a bowl.
He turned on the stove, placed the pan on the heat with a few ounces of butter and laid the chicken breast in it. He seasoned it with garlic and herbs, put the pasta in the pot and threw water in it, putting it to boil.
Uriel washed the strawberries and cut them in half, placing them in the bowl and then the fridge. Uriel turned the chicken over, took out a smaller bowl, poured some cream with mushroom stock into the water and mixed it well together.
Uriel drained his pasta and checked his chicken. "Perfect."
Uriel took the chicken breasts from the pan, cutting them into pieces. He checked the time. "Shit, 15 minutes left."
Uriel took his pasta, threw the chicken pieces in, mixed the sauce thoroughly then threw in the pasta. He placed the pot back on the stove so the sauce could heat nicely with the pasta.
The doorbell rang. "Just a second."
Uriel spooned the pasta mix again and took it from the stove. He went to his door, placed the towel on his shoulder and opened the door.
Christine was standing with her back to him. Uriel noticed her open back. She had a small tattoo on her right shoulder, and he couldn't make out what it was. Her hair was loose and curly, and Uriel felt his pants getting too tight around his manhood. She really did bring out his lust in him. "Christine?"
Christine turned around. Uriel's eyes fell on her low neckline that dipped lower and exposed her breasts just enough. Uriel bit his lip to stop a moan from escaping. . .the way she was dressed suggested to him that this might be a date.
Uriel stood back from his door. "You are just in time."
Christine wasn't looking him in the eye, her gaze was averted to the ground, and her cheeks were flushed. "Thank you."
Uriel closed the door behind her. "Let me show you to the table. I will be with you in two seconds."
Christine didn't answer. Her eyes were darting around his apartment. His apartment was grey coloured, and martyr angel illustrations were on the walls. Uriel didn't know if he should say something - Christine said, "They are beautiful."
Uriel blinked and saw Christine touching the portrait hanging in his dining room. It was his favourite portrait of a woman with long brown hair, pale-blue eyes and skin like the moon. Two men were on either side of her, each standing with her wings, and one last man held her face in his hand, his sword over her heart and her face contorted in fear.
"Where did you find something like this?"
Uriel was brought back from his thoughts on the portrait. "I have painted most of these."
Christine turned towards him. "You paint?!"
Uriel took a step forward. Didn't she see the similarities between her and the woman? "Yes, I do. It seems a bit morbid, but..."
Christine interrupted him. "No, it is not. It is beautiful."
Christine turned back towards the portrait and touched it again. Uriel gaped at her back. Did she say beautiful? He took another step forward - his torso was an inch apart from her back. "Why?"
Christine paused her fingers in the air. "It portrays a lot of humanity and pain. This is how I feel sometimes. . .it almost feels like I am this woman - and somehow I was freed from chains."
Uriel didn't know how to reply to her words. He placed his hand awkwardly on her shoulder, and Christine jumped at his touch. "I didn't mean to startle you..."
Christine turned around - their bodies were touching. Uriel felt her breasts skimming over his torso lightly and felt her nipples hardened. Uriel bit his lip and stared into her eyes; he could drown in them. "Do you want a glass of wine?"
Christine took a step back but was met with the wall, and the portrait swayed a little. "Yes, thank you."
Uriel breathed in, walking to the kitchen; he adjusted his pants and took glasses from the cabinet. He opened the bottle and topped up the glasses, walking back to the dining room.
He noticed Christine was still looking at the portrait as he walked toward her. "Here you are."
It happened in a blink of an eye; Christine turned too close to his proximity. . .the wine flew backwards and on his shirt. "Oh, Shit! I am so sorry."
Uriel froze with two empty glasses, his shirt stained and dripping with wine. Uriel started laughing at Christine's shocked face. "It is alright, " he placed the glasses on the table and took off his shirt, "Luckily, it can be washed."
Christine was staring. She couldn't help herself, Uriel's body was smooth, and she wanted to drag her nail from his head and over his torso towards his manhood and make him beg for more.
Uriel noticed Christine was looking at him with a strange look in her eyes. "I'll be back. . .please sit down."
Christine walked forward, placing her hand on his arm. Uriel paused at her touch. Christine lightly rubbed her fingers across his arm.
Was this an invitation? Uriel didn't know he had never been with a woman before. Gadrial was the only one who occupied his thoughts, body and spirit. "Christine?" Uriel asked softly.
Christine didn't know what made her walk to him and seductively rub her fingers across his arms, she was wet, and he was here. "Yes?"
Uriel dropped his shirt on the floor and turned fully towards her; he liked how she bit her lip - bringing the animal out of him. Those full lips that are bit down so seductively. "What do you want?"
His voice was raspy, urgent and needy. Christine took her fingers from his arm and placed her hand on his torso. "I...I..."
Uriel placed his hand over hers. . .then slowly moved it over his torso and lowered it. His eyes didn't leave her face. "Tell me..."
Christine's eyes were following the movement of their hands. "I want to fuck you."
Uriel let their hands stop just above the button of his jean. "You want to fuck me?" Uriel took his free hand and placed it under her chin, forcing her to look him; in the eye. "Is that your wish?"
Christine parted her lips to answer. Uriel's gaze was full of lust and yearning. "That is my wish."
