He tightened his arms around her, Gadrial didn't have the strength to push him away. It was as she had thought from the beginning, he was making her confused and she was longing for her memories.
"Na'ir... I-" She started but Nakir kissed the top of her head to stop her from speaking.
"Shh, do not speak Gabby." He said into her hair.
She rested her head against his chest, she was hoping for a heartbeat but there wasn't one, "Are you going to tell me what happened to your heart?"
Nakir stiffened, she was being awfully nice to him and only earlier today she wanted to rip him to shreds.
He would be honest, he liked it a lot. In fact, he liked to fact that she was so unpredictable, "Not tonight, Gabby. You need to rest so that this fever of yours can pass."
