The room was pin drop silent, leaving all eyes to burn through my body. I wanted to cry. The feeling I had now was weird. Rejection was what I was all used too. But this felt like I was losing my breath and my heart stopped.
The glass room held so much judgement towards me. I wanted to leave from here but mostly disappear from their memory.
I was on my knees trying to comprehend what had just taken place but the thing is that I simply could not understand. My emotions were all over the place, sending my mind on an extravagant hunt for the truth.
My mouth was watery as were my eyes. Different case scenarios played through my mind. What should I do now?
Do I just walk out of here? What am I to do. I feel so embarrassed to even look up.
"Get out of here you silly girl!" An elderly male voice said.
I felt a hand on my arm gripping me. I couldn't react. I just stood still. The hand was pulling at me, my hair was swaying as well.
"Leave her!" A female raised her voice to defend me.
"Why should we?" Another said against her.
"Because I know her."
She does?
"And who is she?" Someone pointed out.
"This is Alexia, my niece."
Wait!!!
What?
"Niece?" Even I question that.
"You're lying." The voice of the female sounded as if she treated everything in her life as a joke.
"I can smell her wolf so how can she be a witch?" A strong male accent said aloud.
"Well you see Prince Zeke, her mother was my sister, and she was bound to mate with a wolf, so I take that her wolf side was more dominate."
My mother wasn't a witch!
I would have known. And more importantly I have no aunt. My parents had no siblings.
"So if you don't mind, I would like to spend some time with my niece."
Oh! hell no.
"Come dear follow me."
The woman with a red cloak bent down to my level and held my face in her palms. Her thin, ice-cold fingers lifted my head up.
I looked at her face only to refrain myself from winching. Her oval shaped face held burnt scars. They seemed sunken into her skin, giving her a look of frightening danger. Everything about her made my brain go on alert.
Except my body moved on its own accord and I nodded my head. I was practically screaming in my head for help. Even my eyes were as if they weren't attached to my emotions that they didn't thinking not once to widen in fear.
A fake smile made an appearance on my face as I looked at those that occupied the glass chairs. They looked at me weirdly, as if I suddenly grew a fantasizing unicorn horn on my head.
Without a word said to me, the scary woman began walking into the still open elevator. My body followed behind and stood next to hers. We both stared ahead with a smile etched on our faced. I was a smiling freaked statue. And I hated every moment of it even when the doors closed.
"Well that was close wasn't it?"
She exhaled as the pressed the button with a three on it. But soon realization hit her.
"Forgot you cannot talk."
She whispered to herself.
So instead I nodded my head like a puppet. The elevator began to move, making my heart feel like it had jumped out of my body.
"Sorry about that, but I'm afraid I'll have to take this a step forward."
The woman in the red cloak stepped before me. I tried to fight my body once I noticed her eyes glow blue.
Thoughts ran through my head of what she was doing. She began to lift her hand and settle it on my head. I felt my body jerk as I continued to fight against whatever was happening. It was survival mode but I couldn't defend myself.
She placed her thumb and pinkie finger on bother my temples while the rest of her three fingers laid on my head.
A tingling sensation ran from my head till my toes. The pressure from her fingers began to increase on my scalp.
"Pęřiæn Présto Ślentrœ." The woman shouted out.
The air was knocked out my body as suddenly darkness began to sucomeb the light from my vision, making my body drop to the ground. I was limp.
The last thing I saw was the horrifing bloody arm in front of me before the darkness had fully taken over my body.
