Chapter 1 - Ch1: The Beginning

The Ancient World; 776 b.c.e; Greece

The home of the gods stood tall on Mt Olympus. Greece was coming to be a great empire. The gods watched over the mortals, with many emotions. Anger, disappointment, joy, and many more. The gods noticed that wars broke out a lot. Even if it was the Romans, the Greeks, and even the Mesopotamians, war was a fluent "language" by this time. The gods noticed that many of their children helped with this world. But many died in the process.

They wanted to make a child that wasnt just one of theirs, but all. They wanted to make a hero who could live forever and make peace. They wanted a child that could hold the abilities of all of the gods. Zeus, the king of the gods, went to the Oracle Of Delphi, seeking the answer.

Zeus marched into the cave the Oracle sat, demanding the answer. "You must give me the answer!" His voice boomed, echoing among the cave walls. The oracle just smiled. "I have the answer you seek, just sit and I shall read" The voice was smooth and gentle, persuasive. Zeus sat on a stone beside the oracle. "A baby slave of the fall of the great shall be the answer, she shall hold your power, and many others. She will hold peace with the mortals. She shall have a heart of glass, a mind of gold, and soon to be a shattered soul." The oracle read.

The Ancient world; 323 b.c.e.;Alexander The Great died

Some of the soldiers of Alexander, had came back to Greece, to bring back slaves and their dead. Among these slaves was a baby. She had dull grey eyes and a few brown ringlets. She was in the arms of a soldier.

Her mother was a Greek citizen who was captured by the babylon empire when she was pregnant. The baby had been born in Babylon, her mother died in the process of birth, and the soldiers brought the child back to greece. No one knew who the father was, but no one cared.

Hera, the wife and sister of Zeus, was watching over greece that day. Her beautiful blue eyes studied the baby girl from Olympus. "Zeus! The chosen one!" She called out, her voice smooth and high pitched. A flash of lightning and the sound of thunder had appeared beside Hera.

There stood Zeus. He was in his god form, standing 8 ft tall, with silver short hair and a trimmed beard. His piercing gold eyes stared at Hera. "The chosen one? After all these years!" His voice boomed, and she nodded. "Right there!" She pointed towards the baby. "Thats her?" He said, Hera nodding. "Alexander the great has died, and shes the only baby girl slave, it has to be her. You have to go get her Zeus" Hera said, her voice full of determination and a little angriness at Zeus.

He nodded, with a flash of lighting and sound of thunder, he was gone. Down at Greece, there stood a man. He stood 5'11 tall, with brownish hair, and a beard. He walked towards the soldier that had the baby in his arms. "The baby. Now." He said, voice intimidating, with no second thought the soldier just handed the baby to him.

The man grinned at the baby, his golden eyes flashed a bright light before the man just disappeared. Back at Olympus, there stood Zeus holding a beautiful baby girl. "My my Little one... You have a great destiny to follow, and I hope you pick the right path" he whispered. The baby did not hear, as she was fast asleep, her long lashes fanned her blushed and freckled cheeks. He held her close to his chest as he walked to the meeting room.

"Everyone, meet the chosen one!"

Hours later, in the meeting room.

The gods lined up, ready to present their gifts to the chosen one. The child sat in a miny throne, her eyes wide with joy. The throne was made of some of the most precious stones from The underworld, thanks to Hades. Only the gods that wanted to have peace, were there, only a few titans were there too.

Zeus was the first among the gods and titans to give the child his gift. "I give you the ability to hold and use my mighty lightning bolts" He said, presenting a lightning bolt to the child. He put the bolt beside her before touching her forehead, a bright goldish silver light flashed, meaning that the child had received the ability.

Up next was Hera. She bowed before the child and put a peacock feather beside the throne. "I give you the ability of resistance of injury, it will take many days to heal depending on the injury, but it will do you good, little one" She said before touching the child's forehead. A bright blue light flashed, before Hera stepped out of the line.

The gifts kept coming. The following list shows the gifts the child got:

·Zeus- ability to hold and use the bolt

Some gods could not make it due to other things, so they just granted the child a favor. So whenever she needed help, they would help. One of the goddesses refused to go.

"I WILL NEVER GIVE A GIFT TO A FILTHY MORTAL THAT THE ORACLE SAID WAS SPECIAL!" She screamed, throwing a spear at one of her mortal slaves. Achlys. The goddess of misery.

Achlys knew she would run into trouble with the child.. But not now. Definitely not now.

"Her name shall be, Galia." Zeus declared to the gods, his booming voice could be heard as thunder in all of Greece. "all hail Galia!" The gods shouted in unison. "Oh Galia.." Hades muttered, looking at the child.
