"Levy" she called her name as they were now both at her room trying to see where they could find the plate number she was looking for.
"Yeah, almost got it don't freaking rush me dumbass" she countered, her eyes glued on her computer screen.
Tapping, tapping tapping Levy's fingers were tapping the computers keyboard, groaning she dropped down on her bed completely bored out of her mind. Soon enough with ten more tapings- yes she counted it all; Levy finally yelled an 'I got it' scrambling up from bed she went towards her and inspect.
"The plate number you just memorized just belongs to the number one owner of the Mecha Car Ci" she stated as she was now reading some other lines that was there.
"But, that car doesn't have an owner though, they just own it cause they made it, but it is not sold nor it is being sell, you get me?" she asked as she was still reading some other lines.
"Who owns the company?" crouching down she too was now reading some parts of the details that was given.
"Jason Frayer" turning her chair towards the crouched person, she folded her arms and raised an eye brow.
"Now spill, are we getting into another mess?"
"Might be" smirking she went back to her bed and sat crisscrossed.
"No way, you're serious?!" Levy exclaimed throwing her hands up at the air.
"Yeah, better prepare your self though, I'm going to train my boys on how to defend themselves" she stated as she got up from bed and heads towards the door.
"And by train you mean, throwing them at the training station to where you once thrown me at" she deadpanned gaining a 'Yup' and off she went.
"That was a joke" she murmured to herself, knowing that Victoria was really going to do it, she bolted right up and went downstairs trying to catch up with the woman.
Just as Levy was downstairs the entrance door opened and there stood the two young boys with their back pack on hand that was easily thrown at the side, mouth agape she thought 'Yup, really like Victoria alright' shaking her head she went to the kitchen and got herself a soda and went to the living room.
"Yo' mom!" Josh called.
"Yeah boy, what is it?" she replied while nibbling a piece muffin.
"We're going to have a family bonding at school next week, teacher said parents should really be there" Josh exclaimed excitedly.
Ran who almost forgot he bolted right out to hug Victoria's waist and looked up at her expectantly, raising her eyebrows she shrugged her shoulder and motioned Josh to continue on what he was saying.
"It's a must, parents must attend" it was actually their first time going to a family bonding and they were both ecstatic to have Victoria and Lumician- or maybe Lumic; to go to their family bonding.
"Please say you'll go" Ran begged in a hushed voice with sparkling eyes.
Scratching her head, she really does not know how to handle this kind of situations, thinking about it she was suddenly pulled up from her thought when an other force squished her waist.
Looking down she was met with Ran and Josh's sparkling eyes and expectant facial expression, chuckling at the two kids, she rubbed both of their neck and smiled down at them.
"Of course, what kind of a parent are we if we won't be there for you two?" she asked, hearing her answer both of the kid squealed and jumped up and down.
"Wow" Levy commented from the couch eyeing the now blushing brunette.
"I never knew you could be this soft" she continued while drinking on her soda.
Rolling her eyes she waddled her ways toward the couch and plopped down with a loud thud and a groan, as the two kids were now out of sight she can't help but let out a chuckle.
"Whatever, you can't just say no to that two kids you know" she started and stared up at the ceiling.
"The way their eyes sparkled really got me, it's like two puppies wanting love and attention" she stated and looked up at Levy who stared back at her.
"Did you just- you made them- of all things and possible ways to match them up why puppies?" she asked and raised her hands.
"Because they act like one and look like one, so cute and adorable" Victoria countered and rolled her eyes.
Bickering back and forth they did not even notice when the entrance door opened, dropping his things at the floor he heaved a sigh and breathe in a deep breath. Loosing the tie for a bit, he pinched his temples and soon picked up the bags that were scattered.
"JOSH! RAN" he shouted.
Finally realizing that the man in the house arrived the two kids rushed out of their room and dashed to the door, running and sometimes tripping they finally arrived and saw how haggard their uncle and or father- it's because Lumician rarely goes there; looked.
"Bags, on your room, now" he said to them, sheepishly snickering and giving Lumic a peck on his cheek, they soon took their bags and bolted back towards their room.
"Oh you're home, welcome back" Victoria stated standing there with her hand tightly folded in her chest.
Seeing her there somehow just made his day, how nice it was coming home with her greeting him, how nice it was to come home with their children hugging him, and how nice it was to be married with her and have a family with her and only her.
Raising her eye brow, she thought 'There he goes again, mentally spacing out' she scoffed and went near him, snapping out of his trance he looked at her, she was now inches away from him.
"What's wrong dimwit?" she smirked yet still looked concerned, shaking his head he muttered a low 'nothing' and looked down.
Clearing his throat he made his way to his room with a blushing face, without the brunette's knowledge of course. Confused she just stood their and shook her head, clicking her tongue she made her way towards the kitchen.
"Hey Levy!" she called, and soon enough Levy was there with a bowl of peanut in her hand.
"Want to stay for dinner?" she asked as she was now rolling her sleeves.
Hearing what the brunette just asked she stared intently at her with a gaping mouth, shock and bewilderment was evident at the woman's face.
"You? Cooking? Can you?" she asked not really believing on her cooking capabilities.
"What? You don't believe me?" raising a brow she was now washing her hands down the sink.
"Believe? In you? You had me almost killed remember?" she scoffed and sat at the counter taking a piece of peanut into her mouth.
"But I never did left you right?" she wiggled her eyebrows indicating she was right.
Sighing she knows Victoria was right, shrugging her shoulder she just nodded at her and continued on eating her peanuts. Smirking she knew she was right, grabbing the apron that was at the hook and placing it on her.
"Well then, I shall get started" she hummed and took a deep breath in.
She waddled her ways towards the fridge and opened it, scanning her eyes she smiled brightly knowing all the ingredients were stocked up. Getting out the potatoes, carrots, some gingers, onions and garlics out the fridge she put them all laid out the counter.
Eyeing all out the vegetables out, she again made her way to the fridge and got the meat out, 'And of course the seasonings' she hummed and picked out the curry powder, garam masala, flour and salt. Making a contented hum she went back to where her veggies were laid out.
"Okay, now how was it cooked again?" she murmured and scratched her head.
"Just, please don't kill us" Levy side commented, hearing her comment she shot the girl a dirty look and gave her the middle finger.
"Shut up!" she shouted and grumbled.
Scoffing she took out her phone and searched the internet on how to cook a curry, humming she scrolled up and down thinking of which site could it be. Sighing she switched to YouTube and search it up there to have a guide.
"Hello and Welcome back to my cooking show, this time we will now cook our very own style of curry, let's get started shall we?" the maiden in the video said out loud.
Hearing that, Levy choked on her peanut and eyed Victoria who was staring intently at the video, 'Omg she's serious!' she exclaimed. Her eyes widen as she stared at Victoria who was now bringing out the chopping board and knife, her eyes widen as she was now observing the knife.
"Hey"
"Duck!" she turned her head towards the intruder and found Lumic beside her, her heart was beating so fast that she thought she would hyperventilate from the sudden scare.
"What the hell Lum?! Don't scare me like that" she fanned herself and taking in deep breaths to calm her heart.
"You almost gave me a heart attack" she added.
"Well, what are you intently staring at?" raising his eye brow at her, he soon took some peanuts from her bowl and ate some.
Pointing her index finger at the person who was chopping veggies, Lumic too turned his head at the brunette who was trying her best to chop some veggies while spitting some incoherent words at the same time.
"Dang" he muttered under his breath.
"Are we going to be alright?" he asked to Levy, still looking at the brunette who was now placing the cut up veggies in a bowl.
"Probably, maybe, I don't know"
"This is her first time cooking"
"I know" Levy agreed.
"Last time she cooked for us was when she burnt it all down" Lumic pointed out still nibbling on some peanuts.
"Oh my Lord, I remember that oh to well" shivering from the memory, oh how she didn't want that to happen again.
"Well, let's just hope and pray that this time, it's not burnt" Lumic said and made his way towards the living room.
Nodding her head she was still staring at the brunette, she was going to be there throughout her cooking so that no fire would go boom. Going back to Earth she now found Victoria at the stove stir-frying some vegetables, and there she finally prayed it won't get out of hand.
An hour passed since Victoria started cooking, the whole kitchen was now radiating the sweet smell of curry, Lumic who was at the living room, he started to sniff the air and found him self smelling the sweet aroma of curry.
"Ha, I guess it went well" he said to himself and got up, going to the stairs he looked up.
"Kids! Dinner's ready!" he shouted from the bottom.
Not a moment later two kids were now running from up the stairs, both were laughing their hearts out, getting down there they found what was on the menu for tonight, beaming at the each they both shouted simultaneously.
"Curry!" and ran towards the dining area.
"You better wash your hands first" Victoria shouted towards the kids who were now sitting, looking at each other they nodded and went to the kitchen sink.
"Yes mom" both shouted.
"Wow, for once it's not burnt" Lumic commented.
"Indeed" Levy agreed.
Deep inside her though she knew looks can be deceiving as well as the smell too, while she was studying on how Victoria was cooking, she found out she used a little TOO much of salt and as well as pepper.
She nervously laughed and kept her mouth shut, she'll dig in after Lumic and the kids of course. Going around the table she sat beside Ran while Josh sat beside Victoria and Lumic being at the far center of the long table.
"Well, let's dig in shall we?" Lumic stated as they were now getting their piece of rice and getting full scoop of curry.
Taking her time she watched all of the boys getting a handful of rice and curry, gulping down the two girls sat there all nervous and waiting for their reaction and there finally Lumic got the first bite of Victoria's Rice Curry.
Coughing and choking he took the full glass of water and downed it all to his throat, following suit were the two kids who were now in a coughing fit as well.
"I think I might have used a little too much of salt and pepper, don't you think so Lev?" raising her eye brow and placing her hand at her chin she pointed out her flaw.
"Yes, definitely" nodding her head, she just took a spoonful of rice.
Shoving it at her mouth, a loud crack was heard in her mouth, her eyes widen and she looked at the girl in front of her. Both of their eyes widen at the sound of crack inside Levy's mouth.
"Did you just-?"
"What the hell?" she cussed.
"Even the rice is not yet properly cooked!"
Shaking her head as Levy went to the kitchen to take a glass of water, she clicked her tongue and got a spoonful of curry and shove it at her own mouth, tasting her own cooking she calmly stood up from her chair and took her glass with her.
"LUMIC! Order a Goddamn pizza!" she shouted as she tries to stay composed.
