[So this is how my worthless life ends,Huh? (Sighs)] The Person Says in Agony.
My Name is Erbus.I am currently 16 Years old.
A Few weeks earlier,When i reached home i saw my mom lying on the floor drowned in her own blood.I slowly walked forward and touched her body it was ice cold.Apparenly,she had commited suicide being unable to fulfill her carnal desire and need for alcohol.But I didn't felt sadness or remorse even when my mom was dead.Maybe it was beacause i don't even have one good memory with her.
Why??? I don't know clearly but it maybe beacause she didn't treated me properly or maybe because she used to sleep around with other mens for money.I Don't know exactly why but i am not fond of her.But still as her son i fulfilled my duty by cremeting her.
I am different form other people.Why?? Because i had my consiousness since i was of 3 months.I still remember the things that happened when i was of 3 months.
Like the time when my Father left my mother and me while taking all the money we had.
My mother was very sad and was crying but apparently she was crying not because father left her but because he took all the money.And later i found out that he was not my father but the perosn with whom she had affair with after marrying my father.But i didn't knew my father's name.
When i was of 5 months old.We moved to another city called Edgen. After we reached the city my mom immediately started looking for jobs and she found a job at a tavern.But don't get fooled the tavern is just for name in reality it is a brothel.
So,she started working in the tavern and she used to come home at late night.Leaving me Hungry up to midnight.Sometimes she didn't even used to come home for a whole day.Even if she used to come home she used to feed me cheap animal milks.Not her own milk.
Yuck!!! Even remembering it's taste makes me puke.
But well is it as it is.
Even through all of that i was growing up just fine.
From the age of 2 i was able to start speaking.But i didn't told my mother because it wouldn't matter.And as time passed by i grew up and my mother was getting old.
And she started getting less and less customer she started drinking alcohol.By the time i was of 7 years old she became completely addicted to alcohol but as she didn't got any customer and couldn't earn money so she started getting depressed.
She used to lock herself in her room all day long and only used to come out for food which i cook.
Of course,The ingridients are collected by me.I used to go to the forest and collect ingridients for food.
And at day time,I used to go to the Library and used to beg people to teach me how to read and write but everybody used to toss me around saying that i am a prostitute's child and that i had no right to read.
But still i didn't gave up and continued to do so.One day,I was asking a person to teach me.He punched me in the face and while i was on the floor he was dragging me to throw me out of the library hall.
Which was the first time when i first saw her.Her captivating blue eyes her fair skins just like that of fairies and for the first time i saw the eyes different form other.The eyes full of kindness.
She Beat the person who was dragging me and kicked him out of the library but no one dared to do anything to her beacause she was city Lord's Daughter and as she cleaned my face with her hanky.I felt something for the first time.At that time i couldn't understand what that feeling was but later i understood that it was the feeling of love and care.
She asked me who i was and why i wanted to learn to read and write.Apparently she was reading in the capital city and she just came back after finishing her studies and she don't know anything about the town right now.
I don't know why but i felt like as if Yes,this is the only person with whom i can share everthing.So,I told her about everything like my name,age and that i didn't had my father and about how my mom treats me and how i grew up.
As i uttered my last words.She hugged me very tighly i was startled at that moment.I didn't knew what to do when suddenly She started crying and said"It's fine now i am with you.So,you can lean on me if you ever need anykind of support,Okay?"
It was for the first time i felt like as if somthing nice is happening in my life.I cried for the first time like a helpless baby after and i nodded my head while hugging her.Later,I said her that i wanted to study.And She agreed
And time went by she kept on teaching me.I was a fast learner so i learned everything very easily.It took me 2 years to reach her level.She was surprised by how fast i learned.
And after that she asked if i would like to try to awaken my system.As i had general idea of system i hurriedly agreed.
[ System is just as the name suggests it is a system which contains all our details.It also shows our skills and stats.Everyone in the world has a system.And it also shows our blessing of god. ]-System><
After that we went to the church and there the awaking ceremony started.I somehow managed to awaken my system but when i was looking through my stats i didn't found any god's blessing.Which meant that i didn't had Aptitide for any gods.I was very Dissapointed as everybody would have.The people of church started to calling me Trash because those who are not blessed by any god they can't get any kind of divine skills.
But still charis was with me and she supported me wholeheartedly.She used to bring books of basic skills for me everytime we met.
And she continued teaching me everything she knew.And by the i was of 13 I learned nearly all the skills i could to cover up for my missing blessing.But it was never enough.
That same night after i fell asleep.I felt something heavy on my chest.I hurriedly woke up to find that my Mom was over me.She tried to Undress me as she was unable to fulfill her caarnal desires she intended to use me.However i fought back with my whole might until she was struck by fatigue.
Tommorow morning,I went to the library and there i saw charis was waiting for me.I waved at her and rushed towards her.She then told me that if i want to earn some money i can join the guild and become a warriour.I accepted to join the guild and as she endorsed for me i was able to join the guild.But because i didn't had blessing for any gods i was not eligible for the ranking system.

And charis was of gold rank.
I wasn't given any rank.But still i was eligible to take quests.Only small quests though like collecting herbs,Cleaning houses,Searching lost pets,E.t.c.
I was living just fine and occasionally i used to buy alcohol for my mom.
And one day,Charis told me that she needed to visit the city of Omar(Our neighbouring city) To attend to her friends marriage.So,the next day she left.As she waved her hand at me.She crossed the city gate.And i started to wonder how will i pass my day.At that time i had no idea what was gonna happen to her.
Tommorow,As always i was taking a stroll.I heard people talking about chris.I heard them say how unfortunate it was for her to die so young and how horrible death she had.I was startled.I kept repeating in my mind that it was a mistake.I kept saying to myself that i heard it wrong as i started dashing towards her home.When i finally reached her home i saw many people were collected there anad i saw charis's dad(City Lord) Crying in front of a dead body.
I started shaking like crazy.Her delicate face was colored by blood ,Her Beautiful White dress was completely red.And those kind eyes were closed I was filled with despair.She was my only happiness.I saw her as my sister who i never had.To see her in such state i beacame hopeless.I thought that it's over, my small happy world with her was over and all that was left was despair and hatred.I couldn't cry,I don't know why but even when i was in such agony i couldn't shed a single drop of tear.
I kept on standing there for a long time.I walked all the way to the graveyard.I saw her being burried in front of me but still i couldn't cry.When we were returning the city lord called me near him and said that i was to go with him.
I did as he said and when we reached their home.He took me to a room which was apparently charis's room.Her room was filled with her scent , a sweet and peculiar scent which reminded me of the first time we met.I wanted to cry so badly but i couldn't.
City lord patted me on my back.After a moment of pause.
[What will you do if i will tell you who the person is that did this to charis?] City Lord.
As soon i heard those words there was only one thing in my mind.Kill,Kill,Kill.
[I Will kill him] I said.(Enraged)
After that he told me about the city lord of omar and why he killed her and how he knew about it.
Apparently,The city lord of omar wanted to do a one-sided trade with them and of course he rejected and after that during a party he holded in omar he asked him marry his daughter to his son.But city lord rejected beacause charis didn't wanted to marry.And because of that the city lord of omar thought that he was dis-respected so he planned to take revenge [(for such trivial matter is what i thought)].When he got the news that the daughter of city lord was coming to that town.He sent assasins to ambush charis on her way And of course our city lord had also had sent a few number of gaurds from shadow but they were completely anahilated leaving one person.Who rushed with the news of them being ambushed.But when they went with reinforcements it was already late.
Charis was killed brutally.She was stabbed 3 times in her abdomen and had bruses all over her body.
I was enraged and only wanted revenge.I wanted to kill him and then City lord told me that he had a plan.So i did as he said and i was able to infiltrate in their home.I had various skills for using weapons and i also had skill which lets me conceal my presence in shadows.Which made it easier to infiltrate.After i was inside i killed everyone and at last i killed The city lord.
First i damaged his vocal cord then i chopped his fingers one by one.Slowly cutting his hands,Legs and gouging out his eyes cutted his ears and then left him to die.I felt Happy after doing all that.
And after that tears started to flow itself.I said to myself Yes,i did it ,Look charis i took revenge for you.
After i went back to my city,Idirectly went to the city lord.He became happy after hearing what i did to him.But as i regained i senses i started feeling guilty.I felt guilty for not hearing the begging of his wife for neglecting the screams of his sons and while he himself was pleadiing for his life.And i hated myself for being happy after taking someone's life.
City lord patted me on my back and said [Are you feeling Guilty?]
I nodded my head and he said if i wanted to erase my guilt the only way for me was to kill more people.I didn't accepted it at first then he said i was the same as you when i was young i also felt the same guilt but after i was forced to continue i assasinated more people and later i didn't felt any guilt.
Being convinced by him i accepted it.And he proposed me to work for him as his Assasin.I accepted it.And started to assasin more peoples.
Just as he said i didn't felt guilt any more.He kept telling to assasin people and i kept doing it.He used to pay me after i did the job.At that point of time i completely forgot about my mom.And stopped visiting her.
And One day,He told me that the new job will be hard because the person to assasin is a diamond rank Warriour.But after all the thing i went through i was confident in my abilities.
It was harsh but i was able to inflict a fatal blow on his stomach after all the fighting.My left arm was broken and i took a strong blow on my stomach but still while he attacked me i was able to catch him offguard and was able to attack him.
When he was dying he said that i had the same eye as a person he knew.I asked about it and he said that she was his wife but she left him taking all his Money and jwelery along with his unborn baby.I asked what her name was he said her name was medusa.I was shoked beacause it was also my mother's name.
I told him that it matched my mother name.He smiled and asked me to chant a few words(I,Who rules the heaven and earth.Command you to show yourself) As soon i finished this words a light was emmited from my chest i was confused as to what it was and i hurriedly open my clothes and saw a Tattoo of a Raven on my chest.I asked what it is he didn't answered.
He simply smiled and said I will let you know my name before i die.I am thanatos.Be sure to remember to me,My son.And you will know everthing when the time comes.
And he died.Leaving me confused.
I was still utterly confused.
After a while,I started hearing the sounds of guards rushing towards me.I tried to run away but it was already late i had no choice but to fight the 10 Guards who were fully armed and i only had a sword and a Dagger.
But still even a rat when cornered fights back but i am human so naturally i would fight back.I fought with all my might and was able to slay all the gurads but i was stabbed by a Dagger while fighting.I ran away from there and found a dark alley.
So,i went there and leand on a wall.I opened my status and saw that i leveled up and i now had reached level 34.My skills went up.My dagger skill went from level 5>level 6.And my Sword skill went from level 4>level 5.
Now,I am dying from excessive bloodloss.I don't have any blessings.So, i don't have any divine skills like Heal.Heal is the basic skill one gets when they awaken the system with blessings.But i don't have any blessings so....
I guess this is as far as my shi**y life goes.(Chuckles).
ughh...It hurts.....Just hurry up and die.I slowly closed my eyes.
