Rain pov

I was inside from my tower looking out the window bored as ever. Nothing exciting was happening. The only reason I decided to stay in the tower was because the father thought I was disobedient in participating in the swordsmanship competition. I had won but I disobeyed the rules. No girls were apparently allowed to enter.

Which was dumb.

The prize for winning the competition was my hand in marriage today theres suppose to be another rematch. I also have to stay and watch.

I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in" I say not turning away from my windowed glance.

"The princes from each clan have arrived to see you your grace." Mariela's voice says.

"Which ones in particular?" I asked looking out the window looking at the line up the princes had in line.

"I was hopping you'd ask that, First and fore most your favorite Danish prince is here." Mariela says cackling with joy as I quickly turn my head.

"Kai is here??" I asked surprised getting up. Mariela nods. She was the only maiden servant of mine whom I would tell anything to she was like my little sister.

"What time do I need to be down there?" I asked Mariela looking at what I would wear.

"You need to be down... right about now." She said smiling.

"Really? Ugh! Fine.." I said dreading looking this hideous.

Mariela chuckled."Here lets try this on and do your hair." She said as she started yo dress me and fix my hair.

I quickly got up and went out the door with Mariela behind me. I quickly ran down the stairs and outside into the yard the princes were training.

Me and Mariela look around.

"Looking for me?" I hear a familiar voice say as I turn around and look up.

I smiles and jumped up to hug kai. He was too tall...too tall...

We both hugged.

"You already know I'm your right?" I say to him.

He chuckled.

"I know, but they need to know that your mine." He says pulling away smiling cupping my cheek.

We both smile and stare into each others eyes until we hear the horn.

"Good luck." I said smiling.

"I already have my lucky charm with me what more luck can I have?" He says smiling kissing my forehead.

"Hey." I said looking at him.

"What?" He asks.

"I love you." I said smiling at him.

"I love you more." He said lifting my chin kissing me on the lips before pulling away smiling then walking away and lining up with all the other princes.

I walk to my parents who are sitting on their thrones. I walk over to my throne and sit.

"Anyone you fancy yet darling?" Mom asks.

"Only one in particular." I said smiling not taking my eyes off Kai.

"And who may that young man be?"

My father asked.

"You'll know soon enough." I said as the horn blew again.

The princes lined up as they turned around and took out their swords. We could only see their backs at this point.

4 of the princes were up they had done poorly in my opinion then it was another 4 who had done eh..it was okay..but not good enough to win me over.

Then kai is up. I give my full attention to him. As he then looks at me smiling giving me a wink then turning around and battling one of his opponents he misses so much of their attacks and he strikes him with the first hit.

The horn blows again meaning its over.

My dad rises up. He looks at kai whom looks back at him.

"Tell me boy, do you have what it takes to marry my daughter?" My father asks as I glare at him. The Danish and Elvish clans were on bad terms they had some rough fallouts and this could be the only way to help them get over this breakup. "Yes, Sire" Kai says bowing down to won knee. "If I have to prove that I can protect your daughter no matter what. Just so that I have your blessing to marry her. I'll do whatever it takes." Kai says smiling over to me and I smile back.

"Fine then lets see how you do in battle." My dad then motions with his hands for 6 of the guards to attack kai. He misses and dodges the attacks and strikes them all with a single blow.

Kai is still standing.

Dad then looks at him."You a danish boy?" He asked glaring at him. Oh no..I knew where this was going and it wasn't looking pretty.

"Yes Sire, Proud to be danish." He said bowing down to one knee." I know our clan are on bad terms but this marriage can benefit from it. The clans can stop fighting and it wont come to war." Kai says looking at father confidently.

Dad sighs.

"Disqualified." He said sitting back down.

I jump from my chair.

"How the hell is that a disqualification?!" I glare my father as they stare at me surprised.

"He missed all the attack dodging them and struck each opponent with one, just one blow. You couldn't even do that the entire group of princes except hime could do it please explain why he is disqualified because this isn't making sense and if you say just because he is danish color me blind because I promise you I will leave." I said confidently glaring at my surprised father. I felt everyones eyes on me. The audience, the princes , and even kai.

I heard kai stand up from the ground as it started to rain. He walked up to us.

"Sire if this marriage doesn't happen the two clan will start a war. No one wants that." Kai said serious.

My father starred at me then at kai.

"You two know each other. Don't you?"

He asked.

Me and Kai looked at each other.

Kai grabbed my hand as I stood beside him. We interlocked fingers as we stood in front of my parents.

"Yes, I love her very much..shes the sun in my darkest moments... and shes the warmth that comforts me when I'm down.. shes my everything." Kai says cupping my cheek as I smile.

Kai looks at my father. "If we cant get married just because I'm Danish...So be it. We'll get married somewhere else."

Kai stated.

My father is at this rate very angry but annoyed at the same time. My mother on the other hand was smiling at the two of us.

The rain started pouring down harder.

"You, have broken the rules and as part of that...Your banished from ever entering into the elvish kingdom forever." Everyone gasps as my father words sink in.

"If you banish him your banishing me as well." I say to him.

"You have disobeyed my every order up til now and I thought you were to change. I now see that wont happen..." Everyone waited for him to finish his sentence as I was still holding kai's hand.

"I banish the both of you...for eternity."

Everyone gasps and whispered surprised.

"Get your things and leave."

Father says.

Me and kai look at eachother and obey his orders We go up to the tower. "You stay here?" Kai asked surprised. I chuckle." Remember I'm the disobedient child remember?" I say as I grab my things."Once we leave we'll make a home of our own." He says hugging me from behind while I pack."And we'll finally get a bed of our own..." He says whispering in my ear kissing it moving down to my cheek. I smile."You already want me in bed with you?" I said chuckling closing the bag and throwing it over shoulder as we both stare into each others eyes.and leave. Kai smiles " Because I want to see your beautiful face every time I wake up. I want to spend every waking moment with you once we're away from this place." He says cupping my cheek."Lets go start our new life together." I say happily."Together" He repeats smiling grabbing my hand as we leave the castle we go to the stables and get Storm. Kai's horse. He helps me on and then he gets on behind me and we ride off to begin our new lives together.
