I took a tentative sip at my wine. The bubbly feel of the wine, exploded with acidulous flavours in my mouth; I could taste the hint of apple and toffee, interlaced with the floral fragrance of white flowers.
"How do you find the wine?" Skye asked me, his eyes probing. "Is it to your liking?"
"It's splendid." I replied with a small smile. We began to converse a little: talking about the weather, then about ourselves, delving into our childhood lives. Skye laughed a rich baritone when I told him about my childhood dog, Poppy.
"Poppy would pee on my socks and my grandma would huff and puff everytime." I told him animatedly. He would laugh and it being contagious, I would laugh too.
