Immediately after she left, I get in bed and sleep. My dreams were confusing. They were more like vivid memories. But those "memories" weren't mine. They were about things that I never saw or did. One of the cognizances was with Scarlet. She helped me dress up, but I shouted at her because she put silk that made me have an allergic reaction. Before sunrise, Scarlet starts shaking me. I wake up, and she looks tired, I think I've been trying to wake me up a while more than I thought. "I'm awake! I'm awake! Stop shaking me, Scarlet."
"I'm sorry, Camille, but I've been trying to wake you up for twenty minutes!"
"I must apologize too..."
"But why? You've done nothing to me."
"But the real princess did, right?"
"How did you know, I thought you were a different person."
"I am! But I had thee dreams where you were there, and I mistreated you without a good reason."
"I mean yes, but..."
"No, but's I cannot let that happen again."
"But Camille, you want to go back to your home with your father."
"I'll figure out something."
"Okay," She says with a sad tone.
"Anyway, how am I supposed to act in front of everyone."
"Well, miss as you see. As the princess, you need to attend lots of events and be polite with everyone and..."
"Sorry to interrupt, but as the marquess' daughter, I was taught all that stuff. I need to learn her style and her way of saying things."
"Oh... then we need help."
"Wait, what!?"
"I'm sure she has a diary somewhere in here." She says, searching for the book.
"Well, what does it look like?"
"Well is a barn red book."
"Let's search for it!" Scarlet and start searching for the diary for hours 'til someone knocks the door and opens it.
"Your highness...! Why aren't you dressed? The Duchess sended me to take you to the breakfast. As you know, The marquess of Lansdowne and his son are here for breakfast and after that they'll go back to their house."
"Oh sorry, Scarlet and I were searching for my diary. Haven't you seen it?" I say with a worried voice.
"Oh, your highness! I'll ask all the maids to search it if you get ready right now. Deal?"
"Deal."
"Then start dressing up you have half an hour to get dressed and make your hair, makeup and jewelry!"
"Going!" I say while walking towards the closet searching for the dress I saw last night. See the light blue dress down in the closet I take it and ask Scarlet to help me put it on. She puts me on an embroidered corset. "What a beautiful corset. I've never seen something like this." I say as she starts putting on a crinoline -something I usually don't wear. But since now I'm the princes I suppose that I should wear it everyday. Then, Scarlet puts me on many pettit coats. After a few minutes Scarlet finish putting on the hole dress and I still need to put on the makeup and make my hair look good and put on some jewelry. Some maids come in and I start searching for the diary.
"Hey Mary please help me prepare the princess." Scarlet says pointing one of the maids. "You do her makeup while I do her hair."
"Wait! What about the jewelry?" I say worried about the time we have.
"Anastasia! Come here please with all the jewelry that the princess own and make her choose a hair accessory, a necklace, earrings and maybe if she wants a ring." Scarlet says as if she was the chief but nobody complains so I stay calm. One of the maids goes towards the closet and grabs a chest full jewelry. She must be Anastasia.
"Do you like this one miss?" Anastasia says showing me a lace full of diamonds for my hair as Scarlet is finishing brushing my hair and needs my decision to continue. Anastasia shows me a lace with flowers made of diamonds and the leaves made of silver with tiny diamonds to make it sparkle.
"I want that one!" I say pointing towards th lace with the flowers.
"Good decision." Scarlet says as Anastasia gives the lace to her. "Now give her to choose a diamond necklace and the earrings." She order Anastasia.
"What about this one your highness? It has blue sapphire and diamonds. I think it'll look really good on you."
"Yes that one." I say and she puts it on me. The same thing happens with the earrings and I chose a diamond ring with blue sapphire around it.
"Miss you're ready." Scarlet says. "Would you want me to company you to where you are supposed to go?"
"Scarlet! That's her lady-in-waiting's job!" Mary says worried about the punishment that I could put on Scarlet.
"Yes but she isn't here is she?"
"She could be here any minute!"
"I would prefer you to take me than wait for a lady that doesn't care that I go late for breakfast."
"If that's what you want miss. She will company you until your lady-in-waiting appear."
"That sounds perfect." I say standing up from the chair. I feel all the weight on me and it costs me to stay straight and walk at the same time. The crinoline makes my journey impossible because of the weight it has. Every step makes me think I should have chosen a less fancy dress. After trying to look normal all the way out of the dorm I finally close the door with Scarlet by my side I take a deep breath and start walking down the hall. As I continue walking my body gets used to weight and I can walk more naturally.
"Camille are you okay? You look really tired."
"Yes I'm not used to this weight."
"It's okay. You'll get used to it."
"I'm afraid that's going to take time."
"Better late than ever."
"True." We continue walking for a few minutes when I see many persons and one of them is my late death mother talking with the Duchess and my father. "My mother!" Scarlet gives me a confused face and I start running towards her. When Scarlet understands what's happening she understands that she needs to stop me. She stand in front of me, takes me by the arms and leads me to an empty room were the only persons there were Scarlet and me.
"What was that?!"
