Chapter 31 - You're Staring, Mimi

This is the worst night of my life! I need to stay at Christian's house for a night just because of the weather.

What I know, it's very bright outside a while ago but why does the weather alter its mood? I mean, does the weather dislike me that much?

I don't know how to survive with this fine looking good man in front of me. I just warn myself to be more cautious when I'm with gum and evade him as much as possible but this weather doesn't give me that option.

Why are you doing this to me? I'm being a good girl this year to have more blessings than this! It's unacceptable! It's Christian I'm talking about… The hot stuff around the mansion. I sigh, lightly tapping my head to the edge of the backrest.

And this weather pulls me closer to him and my heart can't take that anymore. And being with him, giving me a heart attack. Then, I tap my face, waking me up into a reality.

"What is wrong with me? Christian is a bad influence on me. He's not good for my health. I kept thinking about him and it's not good." I murmur, staring outside as the rain pours into the glass window.

"I wish the storm stopped or else I couldn't sleep when I heard a loud thud coming from the thunderstorm," I mumble.

Then, my eyes wide, realizing that my cat is alone inside my apartment. And I forget to feet her before leaving.

I probably need to call Yoongi to feed my cat…

I grab my phone inside my purse, opening it as I dial Yoongi's number and call him

After a while, I hear a hoarse voice on the other line. "Yes?" He asks.

"Yoongi, I can't go home today since the rain was very heavy," I respond, without leaving my stares outside.

"I know. Do you want to pick you up so you can go home?" I sigh.

"No, Yoon. It's fine and besides, it's very dangerous if you pick me up. Just give Yang a dinner, okay?"

"Okay, but be careful and remember what I said. Also, I know you can't take the sound of the thunderstorm, you should sleep early so you can't hear the sound of it."

"I will, thank Yoonie." After that, I hung up the phone.

I lean my back at the backrest, lifting my head whilst staring at the chandelier dangling in the air.

Then, I glance at my phone, laying on the couch as I grab it and go to the note.

"Should I try to write even one chapter?" I ask myself, thinking about the first scenario that I could write.

And in a split of seconds, my brain doesn't function well, and I haven't thought of any scenario.

"I'll try it next time. I can't think straight." I mumble, slamming the phone on the couch and sighing whilst I stroke my forehead with my right hand.

"What are you doing?"

Then, I lift my head, glancing at him, and as my eyes wide when discerning something that I don't need to see. He's shirtless and I believe he's finished taking a bath. I strive to look away but there's a magnet to his shirtless body and whilst drying his hair which makes him so hot.

"You're staring, Mimi."

I casually look elsewhere, clearing my throat as I conceal my embarrassment.

"No, I'm not staring. Just put on some clothes, it's very cold and doesn't call me Mimi! I have a name. Only Yoongi can call me that." I sternly say without looking at him.

Then, I turn to face him, glaring when hearing him chuckle.

"Why are you laughing?" I say, standing up on the couch.

"You're cute when you're mad."

"W-whatever." I stutter, getting back to sit on the couch.

Then, he sighs, placing some clothes before he sits beside me. My eyebrows raise when he bestows his dry towel.

"What was this?" I ask, reaching the towel at him.

"Don't you want to clean yourself? I mean, are you going to sleep with those clothes? It's very uncomfortable if you use that for sleeping."

"Oh, yeah it's uncomfortable but I don't have any spare clothes."

"Don't worry, I get ready for your sleeping wear inside my room. And there are three-rooms upstairs so you'll search my room easily. Also, there's an indication that it's my room." He instructs.

I respond with a nod, standing up but before I could go upstairs, I turn around, facing him, and say,

"Thank you for inviting me for dinner and staying with me over."

"You're welcome, Mimi."

I roll my eyes when my mood suddenly changes when he calls me 'Mimi' again.

"It's Mia," I announce before I go upstairs.

As when reaching the second floor, I examine the place, notice that all his furniture designs in black color which compliments a white wall. And I perceive that this place is a very dark modern style.

Hence, I heed the grand piano at the side of the room and the enormous windows that could give lights to the place. And so, I walk to the window, glimpsing outside and it captivates me. I can see the vibrant of a different light that is coming from the city. Also, I can see the mountains and trees even if the heavy rain covers the place.

"It's beautiful when seeing the surroundings upstairs. It's just a drag when this heavy—AH! I'm SORRY!"

I scream when the thunder abruptly appears from the sky and I run to the last room, slamming the door close when hearing the loud thud of the storm.

"I hate this," I say as I calm myself.

"Is this Christian's room?"

My eyes wander the place as I glance at a big frame of his picture. It's like a model from a known brand of clothes. I smile when seeing his dark aura from the picture.

"He's a perfect walking man," I utter while observing his portrait.

Then, I walk around and there's his childhood picture with a family. I pick the picture up to see clearly.

"It's unfair, his family was like a walking perfect human. That's why Christian is very handsome." I smile when seeing the baby picture of Christian.

"And a very lively, adorable child," I mumble.

I frown, thinking too much about him. With that, I place the picture frame on the desk.

"Wait, where's the sleeping wear that is lending me?" I whisper whilst searching for my sleeping wear.

"There it is," I say, grabbing the clothes. And I'm not expecting that he prepares me a woman's clothes.

"Huh? That's odd." I utter but I shrug it off and go to the bathroom that connects to his room.

After taking a bath, I look at the reflection to scan the clothes.

"It fits well," I mumble before walking outside his room.
