MIKAH'S POV
"Hi, baby girl you look so much like your mother, you are so beautiful " was the first set of words that left my mouth how dumb of me, Leah stood there still just staring at me thank god for Kylah who ran over and embraced her Kylah was always like that, and she didn't even know who she was hugging but at this point she a came in handy with her way of greetings.
Leah stoop down to Kylah's level and gave her a tight hug while telling her she was pretty I took my phone out and snap a quick picture of them interacting with each other.
Wrong move dumb ass.
After a while, and they got done talking he sent Kylah down to her grandmother while he tried to have a word with Leah they talk for a while which was pretty awkward he tried to explain the situation to her while she just sits and listens.
Never in a thousand years, he thought that he would be sitting face to face with Leah.
"Why did it take so long for you guys to reach out to me?"
"What about mama?"
"Can't you help her if you keep saying you love her that much why don't you help her ?"
Were the questions that I was bombarded with from Leah.
I tried to think about my answers for all the questions before answering them after answering them Leah got up and went downstairs crying and I followed behind her trying to console her I wasn't at all used to this but I'm trying at this point.
I want to break I know how it feels to be neglected to have no or only one parent by my side, so I could only imagine what Leah was going through after she stopped crying I led her to the dining room where we all sat and ate while trying to hold a prevalent conversation.
It was now dessert and I decided to hand Leah her gift, and she thanked me and opened it her eyes lit up I smile knowing she would like it after examining the set for a while she handed it back to me telling me it's too expensive, and she couldn't accept it
I had to beg her, and she finally accepted it and I put it on for her
I still had the ring in my pocket, so I got on one knee just like I did to Kylah.
"I don't have a speech little Lyon but I know that I love you and this is all coming from my heart I will always love you I promise to protect you at all times, I promise to always be there for you, I promise that I'll makes you happier and to provide for you a better life, I promise to be the best dad for you well technically I'm the only dad for you but baby girl all I'm saying is that I love you and I apologize dearly for all the MISTAKES I made and all the things I made happen to you I'm sorry and I love you," I told my daughter as sweat trickled down my face.
I slid the ring on her finger while she sat there and cry .
Kylah tried to hush her and Jessica just stood there recording, we decided that we will watch the movie catch up on a few things while I properly introduce her to Kylah and they basically became attached to each other.
I wasn't going home tonight so I texted the boys at the trap while I made my self at home with my little family.
