I was currently in the library reading a book here is where I spend most of my time reading or just thinking I've always been the distant type after deciding that I'll leave with the book I wanted to stop by my grandmother's room, so I took the elevator from the library and went up as I was walking down the hall I heard talking, well it sounds more like my grandmother was arguing with someone.
She calmed down for a bit then she started shouting again I stood by the door listening
And she said, "Mikah I don't want you around here if she is not comfortable I don't even think she's comfortable with me, but she doesn't have a choice because Emily is on the run after John checked her into rehab she stabbed a worker and ran away I am all she has now Mikah just stay away".
I stood at the door shocked that mom would do something like that doesn't she miss me, wanted help, or wanted to be better. She has abused me but I didn't expect her to harm somebody like that I'll have to call John in the morning.
Deciding that I no longer wanted to see my grandmother or hear no more, I went back downstairs and went outside I had to walk all the way down the path outside before I reach the farm like building down there I heard she keep horses and chickens along with cows.
And down further she kept a collection of different pets, and she had a baby lion.
I climb up and opened the door amazed at the sight of the two horses and I fell in love with them.
I went over and took an apple out the bucket, I started to feed the lighter horse and I rub the horse head while I feed it I look down at the stall door and saw a gold writing engrave in an iron that was attached to it and saw the name Ruby and the date I assumed she got here or something after I was done feeding her I went over to the other stall with an apple and began feeding the other horse by the name Rover.
After interacting with the horses I decided to leave, while I was leaving a man was entering the stall I greeted him, and he told me his name he said that I should come back tomorrow, and he will teach me how to ride a horse, and he told me he took care of all the place and work for my grandmother.
Deciding that I will look at the other animal tomorrow as well I left and walked back to the house before I even opened the door it was opened, and she came out talking about she was looking for me, and she was just about to call the securities.
I ensured her that I was okay and told her where I was she told me to wash up and came for dinner and I did exactly what she said after I sent Amalee a text checking on her and her brother.
