I immediately stood and extended my hand towards him "Sorry Stephen, it wasn't my intention to do that." He grasped my hand and I accidentally pulled him hard. Our eyes met and our lips almost touched, I could feel his breath in my face. 'Ain't this going way too fast? Not that I'm complaining though ' i thought to myself.
"It's fine, but Ali are you alright? Are you not hurt anywhere?" he asked
"Hehe I'm fine. I should be the one asking that to you." I replied "Am okay" he answered
"Thank God no one was hurt, come on lads, let's go get the goods"Julie said. I giggled. Truthfully, I even forgot she was with us. After we got our food trays filled with what we had ordered, we immediately sat down at one of the vacant benches near the exit. "That's rare, you turnin vegetarian?" Julie asked which I answered "Nope, it's just that I had enough meat for now. Ma kept on receiving food from her coworkers, well admirers, and I was the one responsible for finishing it all. Most were pork and beef dishes so you know, who won't get sick of it?" She nodded and said "Well aunty's a Goddess, I even thought she was your sister when I first went to your place. To be honest though, I would have asked her to go on a date if I was a guy" I snorted and jokingly replied "O hell no, you ain't even gonna be mama's type" she laughed and added "Why??? I mean, I'm a beauty, and if I'd turn into a boy, I'm sure I am gonna be smokin hot." Pinching her cheeks slightly, I said "No chance" and she pouted. "Oh right, show a pic of her to Stephen. He might even fall for her". Stephen laughed and said "You don't need to. I mean she's your family, it's private and all." I really appreciate his words and I said "Well, let's be close friends from now on then." and he said "my pleasure." I then passed my phone to him, showing a picture of mom and me together "Her genes are strong" he smiled and glanced at me "You look so much like her."
I laughed and said "Duh, of course since I'm her son"
"God definitely didn't slack on creating you" Julie smiled.
"Well he loves us so much" I said.
"I think you're prettier though" Stephen whispered which I didn't quite hear
"What was that? Sorry my hearing's kinda bad" I curiously asked
"Oh nothing, just mumbling some things." he smiled. Finishing our meals and stacking our trays together, we then placed it at the basin containing the soiled dishes. "Let's proceed to the next area shall we?" Both of them nodded.
We finished for an hour and a half touring the school and then we proceeded to our next class after.
Hours passed and it was dismissal time.
"Ali?" Stephen hesistatingly asked as were about to reach the gate
"Would it be alright to have your number....well Julie's to" with his ears slightly red
"Sure" both Julie and me said at the same time. We shared our number and He texted us simultaneously and said "that's mine". We nodded. He secretly named mine as 'Mi tesoro (My treasure)'
"Done savin it" Julie said and my eyes widened "Ideal Hubby??" she laughed "What's wrong with it? Just name yours as daddy" she said. I laughed and asked Stephen "Is it alright with you". He also laughed and said "Your choice"
"No taking back ok?" I inputted the exact word 'daddy' with the laugh emoji. "Done" I smiled satisfied.
'My future daddy' I grinned as I thought about it.
