" Hello" Lliw said in a weird tone.
" Hello… Lliw, it's me Jane…" Jane's sweet but overbearing voice came through the phone.
" Yes, I know it's you. What do you need?" He asked. He thought ' of course I know it's you, I have your number'
" Oh good. Uhm… Where are you right now?" She asked.
" Hm? Why do you ask?" He asked finding it strange that she'd even call him in the first place.
" Tsk, why do you have to ask so many questions, just tell me where you are" She said impatiently.
" Unbelievable! Hey, it's you who wants to meet me ok?" he snapped.
" Y-y-you bastard! You dare yell at me?!" Jane huffed n puffed in anger.
" Ok, ok. Calm down let me talk to him" A different voice came through the phone.
" Hello? Lliw, this is Fenghua speaking." Fenghua's voice had a metallic feel to it but it was still pleasant nonetheless.
" Ah, yes. Hello Miss Mu how may I help you" Lliw said politely, he wasn't close with her. Although certain things had happened between them, it was merely circumstance.
" We wanted to talk to you about something and since it's lunch time we thought we'd have lunch together, are you available?" Mu Fenghua inquired.
" Uhm, actually I'm having lunch with 2 of my classmates outside of the university so I don't think I can make it." Lliw said apologetically.
" Oh outside of the university? How far away is it?" Mu Fenghua asked.
" Erm about an 8-10 minute walk." Lliw replied.
" Alright, could you send us the coordinates we're actually outside the university so it shouldn't be too inconvenient" Mu Fenghua requested.
"… let me ask them first, I can't make such a decision myself" Lliw explained apologetically.
" oh I'm sorry that was very rude if me, sure ask your friends first" Mu Fenghua apologized.
Lliw put the phone on hold and went back inside the restaurant.
" Hey, Jane and her friend asked if they could join us" Lliw said curtly.
" Eh? J-jane? Uhm, sure" The 2 girls were surprised that Jane wanted to have lunch with them
" Alright" Lliw smiled softly and went outside again
" Yes? Mm. Sure, they agreed. I'll send you the coordinates." Lliw promised.
After the call, he went back inside to find the girls looking at the menu.
" Lliw, should we wait for them before we order?" Kim asked hesitantly.
" No need, They're pretty close Anyway. " Lliw rejected.
" Alright. Well, we've already decided what we're going to order? So go ahead and order what you want" Denise stated.
" Alright, Lliw took a look at the menu and saw that the prices were not too bad.
" May I take your order?" A waiter came to their table a few minutes later.
" Yes we'll have the no.5, the no.8 and the special" Denise ordered.
" Alright, please bear with us for a while, your orders will be ready" The waiter flashed a professional smile and took off.
" So, Lliw. Did Jane say why she wanted to see us?" Kim asked.
" No, she didn't say" Lliw shook his head.
" Well… why do you think? Can you guess?" Denise asked nervously.
" Honestly, I'd sooner believe that she's here to bother me. Anyway, why are you guys so nervous anyway?" He asked.
" W-well, it's just strange that's all" Denise blushed with embarrassment.
" Ah, there they are" Lliw pointed towards the door where 2 beautiful young women were walking towards them.
Denise and Kim's faces froze when they saw the 2 girls.
" Hello, hope we're not intruding" Jane greeted the 2 girls.
" N-not at all, please sit" Denise and Kim stood up to greet the newcomers.
" Xiaohua, these are Denise Everton and Kim Asherdown. Girls, this is my good friend, Mu Fenghua" Jane introduced.

They all got acquainted and shortly after, Jane and Fenghua ordered their meals as well.
Jane had completely ignored Lliw. She didn't talk to him but only casually glanced at him from time to time.
The 5 of them about random topics but Lliw was practically left out of their conversation as he didn't know most of the things they talked about.
" By the way, Denise, Kim. Do you'll know about the incident where some guy jumped off a bridge?" Jane asked.
" Oh yeah, that. We don't really know much about it but I heard that the guy was from our university." Denise said interestingly.
" mm. Not only that but, it is said that he is from our department and he's a first year too" Kim chipped in.
" Wow, that's amazing." Jane and Fenghua exclaimed.
The 4 women talked animatedly amongst themselves while Lliw was left to eat in silence, not that he minded.
It was his first time seeing Denise talking so excitedly with someone other than Kim about something other than School work.
It was also the first time he'd seen Jane conversing with other people and he discovered that she was quite polite, he wondered what made her hate him so much that she would bring up her inner Dinosaur whenever he tried to talk to her.
Fenghua was the quite reserved at first but as the conversation deepened, she became more natural.
But it was really Kim that Lliw was impressed with. She was very fluid and was a great conversationalist.
Unbeknownst to them, almost an hour passed.
" Hey, we were about to go to a KTV after this, wanna join us?" Jane invited.
" Sure, count us in" Denise and Kim agreed without a second thought.
Lliw was amazed by how quickly the girls advanced their relationship.
" ah, well, count me out. I have something to do." Lliw said.
" Hmph, what are you saying? You don't have a choice, you have to come" Jane insisted.
" How can you be so unreasonable?" Lliw grinded his teeth in anger.
" Are you worried about your job?" Mu Fenghua asked.
" sure, that." Lliw nodded.
" Oh than that's not a problem, we spoke to your boss already and she agreed to give you a day off" Jane said smugly.
" WHAT?!" Lliw got up abruptly.
" w-what?" Jane said guiltily.
It was the first time she'd seen him lose his cool.
" Who- ugh" Lliw wanted to explode but he stopped himself.
He quickly drew his phone from his pocket and called Yun Seora.

Lliw understood that she must have anticipated that he'd call her so she must have blocked him.
Sigh, he resignedly sank back on his chair.
