Lliw entered the university and headed to his Dorm. He already a very classic prank in mind to give his Dorm mates a very rude awakening.
"Oii, Sleepy heads, wake up" He clamored as soon as he entered the room.
" ... "
Contrary to rad's expectations, the guys were not asleep. instead, they were all up and chatting while playing some cards.
"hey...guys" He greeted awkwardly.
"..."
"You rascal, You hid yourself well!" Sun Ditao said.
"Hm? what do you mean?" Lliw was stupefied. He expected them to launch curses at him or even encounter a prank as soon as he entered the door. However, what the hell were they on about?
"Yeah man, how do you know the princess?" Philip asked excitedly.
"Princess? what princess?" Lliw asked feeling even more baffled.
"Don't act dumb. Jane Fuise, the principal's daughter. How do you know her?" Kim Minjun was also excited.
"oh.. her" Lliw finally realized what they were on about. The troublesome girl from the day before.
"Sigh... well because of you jokers, I had to spend my break with The old Dinosaur and her Granddaughter was there to visit her. So yeah, she and i bumped into each other there " Lliw said while brushing over the part where he was kicked in the junk and had to be taken to the infirmary. It wasn't something he wanted to remember.
"Hm... there's something he's not telling us" Elias said as he saw how suspicious Lliw was acting.
"N-no. I told you all there is to know, haha" Lliw denied how ever he wasn't really good at lying so they saw through it right away.
"ahem... anyway, the parts i skipped over aren't really that important.So how did y'all know i met her?" he said hoping to dispel their suspicions. However he was surprised that they knew that he'd met her. He was certain that no one had seen them together.
"Hehe, she came here asking for you" Sun Ditao said while eating an apple and laughed like some big time villain as he remembered about the letter.
the other guys also started laughing along with him. Pretty soon, the room was filled with their laughter.
" ... " Lliw wondered what the joke was however they refused to spill anything.
" ah, perhaps the prank yesterday turned them into idiots" He thought.
"Well whatever. i'm heading off to the cafeteria" He said.
The others thought about going with him but suddenly thought that Jane might be there and did't want to be seen with Lliw.
Arriving at the Cafeteria, Lliw joined the Que and payed for a well balanced breakfast. There weren't that many people yet so there were quite a few empty tables. He randomly picked one and ate his breakfast. A few tables across, he saw that his Class Rep was sitting with another girl from their class, the 2 were talking animatedly while having their breakfast.
Lliw ate slowly and enjoyed this rare breathing time he had. He looked all around the first floor of the cafeteria and noticed a bunch of people he'd never seen or payed attention to.
finally, at 07:30, he left the cafeteria and headed to his morning class.
His first class was a Computer Programming Class.
The Class went on steadily and without incident.
"See this is much better. Don't stay up all night playing games again." The class Rep and her friend came over after the class ended. She first praised him for not falling asleep today.
""Hehe, OK I won't" Lliw was too lazy to explain so he just glossed over the issue.
"is there anything else Class Rep?" He asked seeing that she was just standing there with a troubled expression.
"... Are you free next Tuesday afternoon?" she asked after debating in her mind.
"Yes, if nothing unexpected happens, I should be free until about 18:00 p.m" He said after mentally checking his schedule.
"Oh good!" She exclaimed with a happy smile. "Then do you mind coming with to some place?"
"Sure" He agreed to her request since it didn't coincide with any of his mandatory tasks.
"Great, see you then." She said and grabbed her friend and left.
"Strange, I wonder what she wants" He thought.
He left the class intending to go to the library to cement in what he had learned. Well, that was the plan but, his plans got disrupted, again.
As soon as he exited the class, he saw a beautiful woman heading his way. Looking at her Lliw was stunned. It was not just him, both male and female students were staring at the woman. She was just too beautiful, especially to the nerds in Lliw's course.
However Lliw was staring at her for a different reason.
"Damn, why is she here?" He groaned inwardly, hoping she wasn't here for him.
Things didn't go his way and she was in fact headed right for him.
The beautiful girl was in fact, Jane Fuise whom Lliw dubbed
She stood just a few steps from him. She had a beautiful smile on her face. At least that's how everyone else saw it but to him, that was a very devilish smile. He had already seen that smile on her yesterday.
Groaning inwardly, Lliw repressed the dissatisfaction he felt and forced a smile.
"Hi" He said
"How are you?" She greeted back amiably.
Lliw doubted whether his ears were playing tricks on him.
"Why is she suddenly so nice?" He wondered
"Are you free? I'd like us to go talk somewhere a little private" She said
"Oh, maybe she's realized her mistake and she's come to apologize for her previous behavior" Lliw conjecture rather naively.
"OK" He said with a smile. He felt as if a load had been taken off his back.
Seeing the smile on his face, Jane's eyes squinted to a dangerous slit as she held back the rage burning fiercely within. With a "gentle" smile, she lead Lliw to the Cafeteria.
