Red by Taylor Swift

9:30pm
Laying on my bed all day makes me sick.
Listening to music ease my boredom.
"Losing him was blue like I'd never known.
Missing him was dark grey, all alone.
Forgetting him was like trying to know
somebody you never met
but loving him was red~"
As music goes by my memories came back.
"Argh! Taylor Swift, you made me mesmerizing again."
I remember, everytime I go and wait for the transportation to ride on.
I always remember him.
It is already past, but memories still hunting me—all over again and again and again.
His smile, the way he laugh.
His voice.
His stare.
His bubbly personality.
Him being a gentleman to me.
Him that always care and love me.
He's the only guy I could felt and saw in his eyes the sincerity and passion to love me.
I can remember it well.
I won't forget everything.
I hope he's too.
It was 2019 of March, 1 week before my birthday.
I and my bestfriend, Desiree was heading to the River Park for us to find a transportation, a jeepney to ride on for we to go back home.
This day are so tiring, even the school year was about to end.
7:30 in the evening was the time that we end our classes, 12:30 is the start.
"Hey, can we buy foods? Yah! I'm hungry!" Desiree said.
I giggled, she's like a kid waiting for a lollipop to give on her but on the other side I know she didn't go to the canteen on our recess time lately.
"Sure, I want to buy some snacks too—but please let's be fast, I don't want to get home late again." I said.
"Okay I know Margaia Araxie!"
"Thank God you know it Desiree Chantelle!"
We giggled and we immediate head to the nearest grocery—yey! 7/11 time!
We grab drinks and Cheezy, chili flavor—our favorite junkfood of all times. We pay and now, we're heading to the River Park to wait.
"God, please let us go home," she said while her mouth is full of food that she's eating right now.
"I guess, he answered already your prayer. Oh come on!" I grab her hands and we run to the jeepney, so as other students too.
I breathe deeply.
'That was close.'
"Thank me later, Sire!" I said but she rolled her eyes to me.
The jeep was already full by the passengers in just a seconds, wow!
But there's a two student girl who went down and as exchange on their seats, there's two guys who sitted—the one is infront of me, sitting beside Desiree and the one is sitting beside me.
Well, they got all the attention—so I am too. Like me, Maui, Rhiliza and Desiree, they still on their uniforms. I didn't see them in the school grounds whenever we're on our recess time or even dismissal.
'Maybe they're from another grade—it's either grade 8 or grade 11.'
I finished eating my food to throw it on the garbage bin near us—yeah, there is a trash bin in the jeepney. It's so rare to see a thing like this. Salute to the driver!
"Hey, Marga! Nice to see you!"
"Omo, Margaia!"
I look at my left side, it was Rhiliza and Maui. They're both my classmates for this school year and at the same time, my close friends. I didn't expect they're here.
"Oh, you two! Hi!" I said cheerfully.
My bestfriend is busy on her phone so as I am busy too talking with Rhiliza.
"I never thought you're here," Rhiliza said.
"Yeah, we just try once to wait a transportation here," I chuckles.
"How was the waiting?"
"It's too better and faster to wait than those times we were on the highway."
She chuckles.
"You already read 23:11?"
"Yup, I love Jhing and Miko so much."
"I currently reading that!"
"Oh it's cool! You should continue it!"
"Yeah, planning to. Wait, but can you spoil me a little bit?"
"Sure, on what chapter you are?"
Someone's staring me, I can see in my peripheral vision.
That's it!
He is.
But why he would stare at me? For a long time.
Is he on drugs?
Nevermind him.
"On the chapter when they already met in a transportation but Jhing didn't know that was Miko."
"Oh okay okay, I can all say—they will never be together, maybe they're meant to met each other but they're not destined to be together—"
"That was tragic—another story that will spill again my tears."
"Yeah, super tragic but read the book 2 you'll be surprise. I swear, that was the best epistolary novel I've ever read before!" I said and smile at her—but to be honest, I only feel the nervous ruins in my whole body because of this guy.
'I hate it—I really hate it!'
"Noted, I'll finish that. Thank you! Marga!" She said and hugged me.
I smile back and mouthed 'no worries'.
But I'm worry about this guy.
He's still staring at me!
For a long time!
I stare him back.
But I immediately gave up!
Surely, if he join a staring contest surely he will win!
I plugged my earphones and close my eyes so that I can't see him—I can't see him staring at me for the whole time!
Minutes passed, we already reached to our destinations.
I was shocked.
He was too.
After I go down from the jeepney, together with Rhiliza and Desiree.
"Bye Maui! See you on Monday!" Rhiliza said.
"Bye Maui, take care!" I smiled at her.
She mouthed 'thank you' to us.
I can't help myself not to think about that guy.
"Hey guys, did you know that guy? While we were on the jeep, he was totally staring at me for a whole ti—"
"JAMES!"
He look back for a seconds and started to walk again.
"Wait! Y-You know him, Rhiliza?" I asked, she nodded.
"Well, he's Sabrina's classmate and Sabrina was my childhood friend."
I didn't expect.
'I'm worried what will happen next.'
