The manager gave the two of them two VIP cards so there would be no more forgotten identity and another incident to happen at the mall. He lead them to the optical before bowing and bidding them goodbye.
"Lets go in and choose the perfect frames for you."
And also so I won't have to worry about being glared by you!
Ren internally cheered his true agenda stayed inside his head while Mikhail thought that the little student is just excited to shop after a long time.
He scan through the different kind of frames but he knew that the color that would suit well with the school tyrant is the black one. Should he perhaps think how it would look in a fashionable way like if it would fit with different kind of clothes?
For a while Ren is lost in his thoughts.
He didn't knew until now that picking a glass is something that would define your outfit for the future.
"Don't think too much about it just pick one and I'll choose that." Mikhail said trying to ease Ren.
Though that just made him feel that is his responsibility to pick the perfect glasses ever. Since he wouldn't care then it would be his responsibility to care.
HAaaaaa the little student really focus on the wrong things most of the time.
"Okay then I would pick this one!"
Nothing would go wrong with a rectangular metal frame with big glasses on them. Mikhail could definitely pair it with all types of clothes and he would look a little more docile instead of picking a small glassed one. Nah that would just make him more intimidating so he chose this one.
"Then young master, please follow me so we could test how high or low is the grade of your eyes, Sir please sit for a while as it would take a few minutes." The lady assigned to them by the shop said.
Ren sat on the chair at the side of the store waiting for them to finish. There is not that much costumer, in the first place the mall is already exclusive enough and usually the ladies coming here are just here to shop some branded clothes, not interested at all at buying a pair of glasses.
Should he tour around the place while waiting for Mikhail? Nah, that is just inviting another trouble. Instead he just opened his phone and started chatting with his childhood friend who is competing overseas for the honor of the school.
Luke: So how are you now?
Ren: The exam just finished and I'm now at the mall.
Luke: Then enjoy there maybe send me a few selfie, I'm starting to miss my cute Ren.
Ren: Feeling homesick already? Sure, I'll send a few shots.
Ren positioned his phone in a certain angle and send it to Luke.
Luke felt that his childhood friend is cute. There are two variations of each almost identical shot, the only difference is that the other one have filters while the other one is the unedited.
He wanted to go back and spend some time with Ren but his responsibility is pulling him down like a shackle, he really can't abandon this as it is also important. Luke couldn't help but frown at the thought that someone else is being chummy with this childhood friend.
There might even be some girls confessing to him left and right!
Luke imaginative Regalia , continue to worry for Ren while studying for the upcoming quiz bee , it is a wonder how he could do that at the same time.
"Ren let's go! Where do you want to eat?" Mikhail said who just went out of the room and is now wearing his glasses.
Mmm they really fit him.
Now that he is not glaring just to see anything, his face could be clearly seen. The only reason why he is not popular is because the girls manage to notice his face value, they would already run away because of his intimidating aura and glare.
Mikhail felt that everything is still trivial things to him even if he could see things clearly though it helped with his headaches that is occurring more recently. This might seem good too, as he can clearly see the little student who is smiling in front of him.
He doesn't need to try so hard just to capture his expressions.
The school tyrant pinched Ren's nose.
"You're really cute." His complement is genuine and he really wanted to pinch those round soft cheeks.
He can feel his hands feel itchy and restless but he restrained himself from doing so or the little student might get angry at him and leave him there alone. It is not a problem to coax him but they would surely miss lunch if he did as he wanted.
"Stop with all of this cute business!" Ren complained as he puffed his cheeks in annoyance.
It looks like Mikhail understood that he doesn't like it and just lead the way to a restaurant where they could eat lunch.
Inside the restaurant, a waiter presented them with a private room and was given a menu each.
The menu held the pictures, names and description of the food but there is no price at all.
Huh? Why is there no price? Is this not the menu?
Mikhail did not say anything so the little student doesn't know if only his menu is defective or not.
"Miko I think something is wrong with the menu since there is no price written at all."
"Do not worry about the price just choose the food you like I will handle the bill."
In fact Mikhail really chose this place because of the food and that their menu is like these, surely if Ren saw the price of each food here he would rather not eat than spend so much money on one meal. He is someone who has a heart of a commoner he doesn't have the courage to spend that much money at one sitting.
This is just perfect , if he doesn't know then it won't hurt him.
