We reached our destination, it was a grand fancy hotel which was familiar to me. I always had to stay there : big hotels, A.C., humongous standard windows, headached room freshener.
"Is this the place?", I asked.
"Yes," he replied.
I braked the car suddenly. His head tilted and he jerked forward.
"Woops, Sorry, I am still a beginner."
"It's okay," he smiled partially.
I u-turned my car and he said to 'Stop'. I gazed straight at his eyes.
"What's the matter, sir," I asked. (I reckoned his popular status).
"It's night and foggy."
I observed the thick layers of fog surrounding the road and my route.
He smirked and I really like the way he smiled. Oh lord, he was handsome and cute.
"So what?," I asked.
"You can join me."
I opened the car's door and grabbed my purse and kept my handbag comfortably on my seat. I kicked the car's door impulsively.
He wore a hoodie and a regular jeans.
"Why are you wearing hoodie?," I asked.
"I wanna hide from the crowds."
"Disadvantages of becoming popular."
"Yeah," he responded.
The interior design of that hotel was standard and boring (according to me). I checked my message from my mom, 'I am going to New York for fifteen days. That maid (Aunt) will cook food for you.'
"What are you looking?," he asked and grabbed my wrist.
"You just wait there (he pointed to a vacant seat), I will be right back."
I nodded.
I took out a bubblegum from my pocket and blowed it. I had waited for two hours.
My phone's battery was getting exhausted. I walked up at the terrace for fresh air. I had a cigarette in my purse. I borrowed matchstick from a stranger and thanked him with a baby smile.
I blew few puffs in the air.
"Do you smoke?," Ajey questioned suddenly from God knows where.
"Occassionally.," I replied.
"Do you?,"
He took the cigarette from my hand and crushed it on the ground.
"It depends on my mood.,"
"This hotel has a fire alram," he gave reasons for my crushed cigarette.
I smirked and he grasped my wrist.
"Should we go?," I questioned.
He gazed straight and sharp at my eyes.
"Ummm, it's foggy and dark. Can a beginner drive in this condition?," he uttered.
"I can...."
"Shhh, I have booked two rooms, you may use one."
"Room no. 234 and 235.," he asked the receptionist.
"Sorry sir room no. 234 is not available.," the beautiful receptionist replied with a professional smile.
"But I have booked it.,"
"Sorry for the inconvenience but the room is occupied. We will give you fifty percent discount."
I took another mint bubblegum and chewed. I suddenly caught his elbows and jerked him.
"Are we going to share the same bed?," I whispered with a kind of naughty voice.
"No, I will sleep on the sofa.," he replied.
