I walked into the house with a big box in my hands, and I walk inside the house.
"I got donuts, everyone!" I yell out noticing that no one was there.
Raelynn then walked downstairs and said, "Oh, Lexa, where have you been?"
"I thought that I would go and get some donuts for everyone. Speaking of, where is everyone?" I asked.
"There still sleeping." Raelynn answers.
"What?! It's 11 o'clock!" I say shocked.
"I guess everyone's just tired," Raelynn tells me.
After half an hour, everyone came downstairs. Of course, the donuts were gone in seconds after they started eating. Then, I started getting that feeling again, like someone was watching us. I had that feeling ever since Skylar and I came through that portal. I was worried, but I didn't want to freak anyone out over something that could be nothing. After the four year loss, I kind of feel, out of place. Raelynn and Blake have a family, Derek has a niece. Then there's Skylar and I, who just came back, and were exactly the same age and person. So much has changed, and I don't feel right anymore.
"Is something on your mind Lexa?" Blake asks out of concern.
"Huh, oh, no, just thinking," I responded hesitantly.
"Lexa, you have been thinking a lot lately. What's wrong? Is it the four years that you missed out on?" Raelynn questions.
"Yeah... actually, I'm feeling a little out of place, and it weird with you guys being so old," I respond.
"Old, I'm 22, you bitch," Raelynn responds angrily.
"Raelynn!" Blake screams hold his hands over Mia's ears.
"Oh, my, gosh, I'm so sorry." Raelynn apologizes.
Well, I know what makes Raelynn mad now. At that moment, something happened. I couldn't move, no one could move. Except for... Mia. A group of men come rushing in, they were wearing the masks from back on World X. One of the men grabbed Mia. I struggled as much as I could, but nothing, I couldn't move a single inch. The men kept talking about leaving as soon as possible, because of running out of time. I don't know what he meant by that, but I was assuming that it was when this freezing thing wore off. I had a direct view to Raelynn, I could see a tear come down her face. I not even sure how she could cry, but I guess our eyes weren't really affected by the freezing power. The men quickly opened a portal to World X and left. When they left, the portal disappeared and we unfroze. Raelynn went straight to her knees, and Blake just kept pacing back and forth. I was worried, Blake looked very angry like he was going to kill someone. I ran over to Raelynn and comforted her. She kept saying it was her fault, but we all knew it wasn't. To be honest I felt like it was my fault since I didn't tell anyone about my feeling. We all went to the table to talk about who might be after us. Blake was looking scarier by the second, his eyes turned red and he started to clench his fists. I've never seen him like this before, never in my whole life. I guess being a father really changed Blake.
"So, any ideas of who these people are." I break the silence.
Blake hits the table making it shake, "I don't give a shit who these people are, we know where they are, so let's go and get my daughter!" Blake yells with anger.
"Blake, you need to calm down, we all want to find Mia. But we have to make some sort of plan before we go killing everyone and thing." Raelynn tries calming Blake.
We stayed at the table for maybe two to three hours coming up with plans and who this could be. We didn't come up with mostly anything, just some theories, and guesses. We were almost about to quit and just go with Blake's plan, until... the phone rang.
Ring, Ring
"Who could that be?" Raelynn asks.
"Here, I'll put it on speaker," I announce.
"Hello?" I answer.
I believe we have something of yours, a little girl perhaps. This girl is quite extraordinary. She's not a full human or a full demon, but half of each.
"What the hell do you want with my daughter, you scumbag." Blake blurts out.
It's not just her I want, it's all of you. We would have taken you all back then, but you're too strong. You would have beaten us with the little group that we brought. You see, I know you knew one of our guards, Lucias Michaels. We work for the government, and it seems that you all have broken a law. Law number 527 states that's all species must never tell humans about our world, or what we are. Ever since we saw humans enter our world with other species, we decided to spy on you to see just how much these humans actually know. It seems that they know everything. It also seems that a few of you have fallen in love, which it law number 3. No species must fall in love with a human. Now, if you want your girl back, you better bring your whole group to us, so we can fix this.
"What exactly do you mean by 'fix this'."
We will simply erase the human's minds, and send them back to their world. Then the rest of you will stay here, including the girl.
"Wait, erase our minds?" Raelynn asks confused.
We can't have you wandering around with such knowledge of us and our planet. Now, If you don't mind, I'll be leaving now. You have 2 days before we kill the girl.
"Okay, can we go now. We know where and who, now there's nothing holding us back. We have to go get Mia." Blake begs.
"He is right, and we are on a clock here guys. We'll grab weapons, and go after them." I announce.
"Here Rae, I know you're best with guns so you can dual wield with these pistols," I say as giving Raelynn two pistols.
"Thanks, Lexa," Raelynn says in a rather gloomy voice.
We walk towards an open area, and Derek opens the portal. We start to walk towards it until Raelynn stops us as soon as we were about to go in.
"Guys, I know this is really bad timing, but I have to tell you something," Raelynn announces.
"What is it, Rae?" I ask.
"I- I'm pregnant. Gosh, that feels so much better. Now I can fight with my head clear. Okay, let's go guys."
With that shocking news, we stood there while Raelynn jumped into the portal. With a shock, we stood there for a few seconds before rushing to the portal to get more answers. We asked and asked, but all Raelynn could tell us was that she only found out yesterday. Blake had an even more worried look on his face, he looked so worried, that I thought he was going to pass out. Once we made it to World X, we started walking toward the governmental buildings. We didn't even have to make a plan, we all knew there was no way they were going to bring us apart. So we just kept walking, without thinking about what we were against. After reaching the buildings, we decided we needed to steal some guard uniforms to sneak in. There were so many guards, there was no way we would be able to just walk in without being noticed. Blake and Derek grabbed six guards and put them to sleep.
"Wait, why did you get six," I asked.
"There's six of us, right?" Blake questioned.
"Shoot!" Raelynn yelled out.
"What?" I asked concerned.
"We forgot about Remi at home," Raelynn remembered.
"Well, it's not like she's going to age or anything, she's an angel," Derek adds.
"Your right, let's just stay on topic guys," I told everyone.
"Okay, here's what's happening. Skylar, Derek, and I will take care of guards one by one without being noticed. Then you two will go find your daughter and take care of the leader. Okay, let's go." I direct.
Skylar, Derek and I started taking down as many guards as we could, as quickly and quietly as possible. We wanted to be discreet, and make sure we don't cause too much attention to us. Raelynn and Blake were up one floor from us looking for Mia, there were probably twice as many guards up there. Which made their job, so much harder than ours. After we cleared the floor, we ran upstairs to try and help Raelynn and Blake find Mia. We were positive that Mia was up here, for we saw a man take her up this way. We came to the last door and opened it. There was Mia, playing on the ground with the man that took her.
"Guards, why do you need?" The man asks.
"The girl." Blake answers.
"Yeah, what about her?" He asks rudely.
"We want her back." We all answer as we remove our masks.
"So you're here to fight instead of surrendering, so be it."
The man then quickly pulls out a gun and points it towards Raelynn. Without thinking about it, I jump in front of Raelynn shielding her from the bullet. Unfortunately, the bullet was made of silver, so I knew this would be the end of me, but it was nice to be with the people I care most of for my last moments. Raelynn was right next to me, while Blake and Derek were beating up the man who shot me. Raelynn was crying, and what happened next was something so strange. Raelynn's hand that was in my heart started to glow, it directed everyone's attention. The glowing then went to my wound and heald it. We were all shocked. The man who shot me ran towards the doorway, but stopped to say,
"Since you are human, I'm guessing you are pregnant with a demon. The demon that you hold will bring war upon you all. When you give birth to that child, we won't be the only group against you. Every group in World X will hunt that child down and kill him or her." The man said in a fearful voice.
"What was that about?" Raelynn asked.
"We have to go home now, Rae!" Blake yelled with fear.
We returned home with no more than a year gone by, luckily we all came back at the same time. But there was so much tension in the air.
"Now, can someone tell me what's happening?" Raelynn freaks out.
"If what the man said is true. Then you are holding one of the most powerful demons in our world." Blake begins.
"You're not saying..." Derek starts to say.
"Yes, that exactly what I'm saying, Derek." Blake cuts off Derek.
"What demon am I go to give birth to?!" Raelynn starts to freak out even more.
"The life or death demon," Blake responds,
I gasp, "No!"
"What's a life or death demon?" Raelynn asks scared.
"Basically, it's a very powerful demon that can either heal or kill anyone with a single touch," Blake responds.
"Can the baby kill me before I even give birth?"
"No, you see the baby can't use its powers until he or she is born, but since the baby is connected to you... The power is being transferred to you until the baby is born." Blake answered.
"So, you're saying I could accidentally kill someone with a single touch."
"Yes."
