Maddie exhaled as she tried to keep her tears from running over her cheek.
Of course she knew Kayden wouldn't be very happy to see her since they didn't go apart in a good way but she hoped they could be friends again.
She wiped her tears away as she hears footsteps knowing it must be her brother.
"Maddie, what is wrong?" Ben asked and Maddie exhaled.
"I don't know how I thought this would work. Me and Kayden will never be able to be friends again," Maddie said.
"What about I introduce you to my wife? I'm also becoming a father," Ben said and Maddie smiled.
"I'll be in soon," Maddie said as Ben went inside and Maddie got the courage to go on.
