At home, Blacksmith said, "Wait you learned about fire first? Did you burn yourself?" Kole said, "No. I learned how create fire." Blacksmith raised a brow and said, "Oh? Show me then."
Kole grabbed a twig from the fireplace with his mouth, and the tip of it slowly grew a small flame. Blacksmith clapped and said, "Good job! Just don't set the house on fire please. Haha..." Kole said, "I won't. I'm going to learn how to move water in a couple of days anyway." Blacksmith sighed in relief and said, "That's good. Good night Kole." "Good night Smith."
In the middle of the night, Kole felt something poke him. Kole opened his eyes to see Forest next to his bed. Forest said, "Time for your training Kole." Kole yawned and jumped out of bed saying, "What about Smith?" Forest put a note on Kole's bed and said, "C'mon. Let's go to the Old Plains."
Forest walked out of the room with Kole close behind. "What kind of powers are we going to learn?" Forest said, "The element of earth itself." "The element of earth!? Cool!" Forest said, "Yes yes. But we're learning about plants, not rocks."
In the Old Plains, Kole heard Blaze arguing with Edward again. When he heard his name, he got a bit curious. Kole put his ear against the fire doom's door and heard, "What do you mean he isn't a new student!?" "He could move fire before I could teach him ANYTHING!" "Lies! And if it wasn't a lie, you couldn't prove anything because he already knows how to use fire!"
Kole wanted to hear more, but a strong force pulled him back from the door. Kole looked behind him, and he saw Lark with a deadly gaze. "Aren't you supposed to be somewhere.." Lark said coldly. Kole slowly got up and ran to the room Forest was in.
When Kole entered the room, he stared at it in amazement. It looked like a traditional Japanese room with potted plants all over, and another door in the back. Forest said, "Keep following me." When Forest opened the door in the back, he saw a garden and a giant weeping willow tree surrounded by wildflowers. Forest said, "Hm... let's change the wildflowers to morning glories." Forest touched a wildflower's petal, and the whole plant turned into a morning glory. "Wow!" Kole shouted.
Forest said, "With the power I have, you can change anything into a plant you desire. Now, I will-" Forest stopped and stared at Kole in pure amazement. Kole touched an ant and turned it into a sunflower sprout. Forest said, "Kole... how did you..." When Kole turned around, Forest flinched.
Trembling, Forest said, "Y-Your.... eyes turned green... how are you a master?" Kole said, "My eyes aren't green. They're hazel." Forest said, "Well your eyes are green now. I guess I have to teach you how to control your powers..." "How is he a master already...? I haven't taught him anything... maybe this connects with Blaze's theory?" Forest thought.
For a few hours, Kole learned how to change and control plants. Forest said, "You're doing great Kole. Better than any other student I've had. Let's eat some food. You look starved." Kole said, "Yup!"
Inside the plant room, Kole and Forest were eating when there was a rapid knock on the door. Forest opened it, and he was greeted with a punch in the gut.
"Forest you idiot! It's night! Kole should've been home houurs ago!" Blaze shouted. Kole said, "Wait what!? Oh shoot! I gotta go!" Blaze said, "Damn right! Now go!" Kole ran out of the room and Forest said, "He knew... how to turn living things into plants already..." Blaze said, "What!? How!?" Forest said, "I don't know... but I think we should have a talk with someone."
