Cindy took him to the car and settled him in the shotgun seat. She sat in the driving seat and buckled his seatbelt as Alex groaned, "Cindy..."
Cindy looked at his face, he was still inebriated.
She sat properly and buckled up her seatbelt and said in a low sound, "it's been a long time since I've driven a car".
She took a deep breath, "Well here goes nothing", and started the engine.
Cindy: If by any chance I put a scratch on this car, it's your fault Mr. Alexander Robinson.
She looked at his sleeping face, "Just when I thought I'd trust you again".

His eyes fluttered as he slowly got up with a excruciating headache. He looked around the room, "Where...am...I?"
He looked closer, " Seems like it's my room...but how did I get here?"
Right at that moment, Cindy walked in with a bowl of soup to sober him up, "You're up?"
He looked at him drowsily, "Who are you?"
Cindy: Great that you forgot about me, now I won't have to continue this marriage.
Alex: Cindy?
Cindy rolled her eyes and placed a small folding table in front of him and put the bowl of soup on it, "Here drink this up".
Alex: What happened? Why are we at my place?
Cindy: I'll tell you later.
Alex: Okay...
Alex tried to hold the spoon but he had no strength in his hands making him drop it on the table.
Cindy: What did you drink that you can't even pick up a spoon properly?
Alex held his head tightly, "I don't know... my head hurts a lot".
Cindy sighed and sat beside him, "I'll feed you".
Alex: huh?
Cindy: Now open your mouth before I change my mind.
Alex: okay...
Cindy slowly fed him the soup as Alex drank it obediently.
After they were done, Cindy decided to ask him what actually happened there.
Cindy: Why did you go to Isabella's room just to drink?
Alex: What?
Cindy: Have you seen yourself right now?
Alex sat there on the bed quietly without answering her.
Cindy: Why did you go to meet her alone?
Alex: I...I can't tell you.
Cindy: Why? Are you two seeing each other or something?
Alex: No! No! We aren't!
Cindy: then why can't you tell me?
Alex: it's confidential.
Cindy: confidential? You do know that I found you inebriated in her room, right? Do you think this is simple!?
Alex: I don't know, we didn't drink any alcohol. She just served me tea. I swear.
Cindy pressed in between her eyebrows, "I don't know what to say to you..."
She paused for a while then said, "I need some time to think this through, you take rest".
Alex nodded and laid down on the bed while Cindy covered him with a blanket.
When she was going to leave Alex suddenly held her hand, "Where are you going?"
Cindy: Just... outside this room. Don't worry, I'm here. I took leave from work.
Alex: Thank you... and don't—
Cindy: I know, I didn't tell her anything.
Alex: Alright... sorry to bother you...
Cindy smiled softly, "Take rest".
