After talking for a while Matthew asked Melissa hesitantly, "Do you... do you think Cindy will get back with Alex?"
Melissa tossed the icecream into a bin, "What do you want to hear?"
Matthew looked perplexed, "huh?"
Melissa: The bitter truth or sympathy?
Matthew looked at her in shock and wonder, 'how can she be my sister?"
Matthew: Truth...
Melissa: The bitter truth? Okay.
Matthew glared at her making her burst into a hysterical laugh, "alright, alright. Well... chances are yes because they are still married and it's been 8 years since they separated while they still had strong feeling for each other".
Matthew looked down and sighed, "Hmm..."
Melissa patted his back, "Sorry, Matt".
Matthew: it's ok, I'll drop you home.
Melissa nodded and they both left. Melissa waved goodbye to Matthew and got inside her apartment. As soon as she got in, she dropped on her bed and pressed her forehead. She murmured, "Why is it so hard to get the person you love?"
She checked her phone, yet there were no messages from Jacob. Like always, he stopped texting her.

Isabella lying on the floor and Alex over her.
Cindy: What the hell are you two doing!?
Alex slowly got up, his legs were shaking making him unstable. He turned to Cindy with droopy eyes, his cheeks were flushed as if he drank a lot. Unsteadily, he walked to Cindy and held on to her tightly.
Isabella slowly sat up, her face was flushed as well, "Cindy I—".
Cindy interrupted her coldly, "Isabella".
She looked at her coldly and said word to word, "If you really want My man and he wants you as well, I'll give him to you without any hesitation. But I will not allow you to trick us like that".
Isabella: But I—
Cindy: I do not care if you're powerful enough to make me lose my job.
Cindy held on to Alex tightly and walked away from the room as thousands of questions trafficked her mind.
'Why were you two even drinking at this hour?'
Isabella got up unsteadily and fixed her dress. She took a deep breath and walked to her table.
Isabella: Come to my office immediately.
After a while, a man in suit walked into her room.
Secretary Wang: Did you call for me Mam?
When Secretary Wang saw her like that, he rushed to her, "Mam, Are you alright!?"
He quickly made her sit on her chair.
Isabella: Who brought the tea in my office?
Secretary Wang: No one did. It's the same tea you bought few days back.
Isabella: Since then who came into my office?
Secretary Wang: Just the cleaning lady and your clients.
Isabella pointed at the cups on the table, "Take them immediately to Alison and get them tasted. Also make a list of people who came into my office".
Secretary Wang: Alright mam, I'll call the butler to take you home.
Isabella: Thank you and don't tell this to anybody. Keep it confidential.
Mr.Wang nodded and left the room hastily with the tea cups.
Isabella leaned on her chair and thought about what Cindy said, 'If your man wanted me, I wouldn't have let you have him in the first place'.
