Cindy took the flowers and decorated it on the table gloomily.
Alex went to the kitchen counter and asked, "He really likes you a lot".
Cindy: Hm?
Alex repeated, "He really likes you a lot".
Cindy replied gloomily as she arranged the flowers in the vase, "yeah... I guess".
As he sauteed the vegetables he asked, "Why didn't you ever date him?"
After a while, Cindy replied, "I don't love him".
Alex: I see, that's understandable. You ever told him that?
Cindy nodded, "yeah".
Alex: That must have hurt.
Cindy: I know but there's no other way. He did a lot for me and I'm grateful but still.
Alex:Hm.
After finishing breakfast, Cindy and Alex got ready for office. Looking at them like this, Carla couldn't help but smile as tears fill up her eyes from joy.
Alex: Cin, when are you gonna submit the article on Elisa Lang?
Cindy: I've already completed it, you'll get it today.
Alex: Alright, and are you still handling Emilia love's interview?
Cindy: Yeah, I'm gonna go there after lunch. Why?
Alex replied, "Nothing, you'll know it later" and winked.

Meanwhile, Matthew called Melissa as soon as he left Cindy's place. As he looked for Melissa's contact he murmured, "that bast*rd". After ringing few times, Melissa picked up the call.
Matthew: Wanna get beer?
Melissa: it's 7 in the morning Matt, what's wrong with you?

Melissa quickly brushed her teeth, took a shower and dressed up. Suddenly her phone started to ring again, it was an unknown number. She picked it up, it was a familiar voice.

Cindy: I haven't thought it yet. I need more time.
Alex: How did you know I was gonna ask you that?
Cindy: I know you too well, Bunbun.
Alex: Are you gonna start calling me that again?
Cindy chuckled, "Maybe".

Melissa: Alex hates it when Cindy calls him Bunbun.

Melissa took a sip of beer and replied, "Back in primary school, there was a girl who liked Alex a lot and she gave him the nickname bunbun. She used to chase after him and screamed Bunbun around the school but the her parents got transferred to a different city so she left the school as well. Since then Cindy calls him Bunbun to piss him off".
Matthew sighed, "They even have sweet backstory!!"
Melissa: Didn't help much, ok.
After staying silent for a while, Melissa spoke up, "Someone is coming to see us".
Matthew: Who?
A familiar voice replied, "Hope I am not too late".
