Matthew furiously walked out of the villa as his men followed him.
Matthew: What's the status of Cindy?
Matthew asked the captain of the special force.
Captain: They've rescued Miss Anderson but couldn't get the kid yet. Mr. Robinson is fighting with Dylan Davis' nephew Wilson Davis to save the kid. Special force is fighting their people.
Matthew: Go straight to the warehouse. Even if we are late.

She was still in daze from the drug, Alex picked her up and hugged her tightly.
Alex: I'm here... you're safe now little princess.
He walked out of the cell and held onto the rope to climb up. Just when he was about to, a loud bang of gunfire filled up the room as the bullet pierced through his legs. Wilson held the gun pointing at Alex as he smiled wickedly. He still kept climbing despite the scorching pain. After he climbed up, another shot was fired, piercing through his back. He quickly took out a heavy dosed tranquilizer and shot it at Wilson's neck. Within a second he was unconsciously lying on the floor. Then he put aside Olivia and unbuttoned his shirt, showing his toned abs. If it was an inch above, the bullet would've pierced through his heart. He quickly tied the shirt around the wound to reduce the bleeding and picked up Olivia. When he looked out, he saw the enemy team lying flat on the ground. Indeed, the special force is powerful. He slowly got down, the pain was making him dizzy. From a far, he saw Cindy running toward him, her face worried sick.
Cindy: Are you okay!?
Instead of replying Alex passed Olivia to her, "I kept her safe. She needs to be hospitalized."
As soon as he passed her to Cindy, she saw the blood in his body. Before she could say anything, he collapsed on the floor.
Mark: GET THE CAR FAST!
Mark quickly picked him up, "He was shot in the back."
As soon as the car arrived, four people picked him up and placed him cautiously in the car. Cindy held his hands tightly and gazed at his face. Tears formed in her eyes but she couldn't feel enough to cry. She slowly picked his hand and placed her soft lips on his palm as she softly kissed it, "I'm sorry..." she whispered softly.

After reaching SN records, Matthew quickly got in the car to go to the warehouse when his phone. In the caller ID, it showed Mark's number.
Matthew: How is everything? I'm coming to the warehouse.
Mark: Don't. We are at the hospital. Alex was shot.
Matthew: How is Cindy and Olivia?
Mark was astonished seeing how he ignored Alex's condition and straight up asked about Cindy and her kid.
Mark: They are fine now, Cindy was beaten up pretty badly.
Matthew clenched his fist, "I'm coming, which hospital is it?"
Mark: Huashan Hospital.
Matthew: I'm on my way.
After hanging up Matthew dialed another number to call.
