"Let's go back. After today, this time every day I want someone to bring some leftover meat of the animals we hunt to this fixed place. This is just my experiment but I believe that after a few months we might see some positive results."
Regardless of the embarrassment, Edward would eventually bring surprises to everyone. His conjecture was further verified by the actions of the wolves and his future knowledge so it wasn't hard to convince Roc and Debro of a new possibility that was an impossible idea for the current era.
Meanwhile, the gathered furs were soaked for several days.
It was the total furs gathered from his hunts with Roc and Debro where Edward had trained the two a lot.
Edward came to the pit where the furs were lefts to be soaked along the two girls who were usually always around him.
"Take out all the furs and wash them with the stream water," he commanded.
The pit was covered with a layer of sticky stuff, giving off an unpleasant stench. Edward understood that the fat on the fur had all fallen off.
The fur taken out where washed thoroughly by the stream. Daisy and Night did a second cleaning of all the furs as they were the most careful individuals from all of the gathered people.
Once done, the two shook open the first clean fur which led them to having a look of amazement on their faces.
"Light, your approach is amazing! ~ This fur has become very soft and warm. I like it very much!"
"Whatever goes through Light brother comes back getting better than ever. Don't you agree sister?" Daisy spoke back as she stood next to Night.
Edward stared at the two beautiful faces that were basking in the morning sunlight while giving off a faint glow.
'What a wonderful day it is.'
The fur was laid on the pebbles by the edge of the stream while Edward laid upon one of the furs. Night and Daisy laid down on other furs next to Edward. One to his left, other to his right.
Everyone enjoyed the warm sunlight and the soft fur beneath them. Feeling somewhat emotional, Daisy turned to look towards Light.
"Light, I really like this time, just three of us under the sun in peace." said Daisy while retracting her gaze from Light and looking up at the sky with a silly smile on her face.
Edward knew that what she meant was that she was simply enjoying the presence of each other's company all alone.
"Sister, you think the same right? Light you feel the same as us too?"
"I…I may be the happiest man in the world now, hahahaha..."
Edward laughed and extended his left and right hands, bringing the two girls into his arms and rubbing their heads back and forth.
Daisy and Night also willingly moved to be closer to him and slightly closed their eyes in content.
Daisy's soft and warm hand slowly slithered around his thigh and without warning reached under his rabbit skin skirt causing Edward to immediately sit up from the sudden attack.
This ..... he was not prepared for this kind of thing, not that he does not want to, but he does not want to do anything while Night was restricted by her oath.....
To him it felt like he was cheating with Night who also wanted to be together with him, maybe more than anyone else but couldn't because of her oath.
Daisy also realized her own mistake. In fact, she knew very well that before he could get the teeth of the saber-toothed tiger he wouldn't make a move on them. She felt guilty because what she was doing was unfair to Night.
"Let's go and see if the fur has dried up." Edward slipped out of the big stone and helped the two girls down.
Edward's courtesy to women was a thing that men didn't have in this era, so even his simplest considerations were impactful to the two ladies.
The furs had dried out the moisture and so it was light and fluffy while extremely soft to touch.
Night and Daisy, each held a fox skin.
"Light, this is so soft and light. Compared to the skins I am wearing that are stinky and are hard, these are great!"
Daisy grinned and nodded along seriously with Night's statement.
"Both of you will get new clothes today. Let's take these furs back."
