XAVIER'S POV
"Xavier, honey? Is that you?"
I dropped the keys on the island of the kitchen and yelled back.
"Yeah. Yeah I am back mom."
I wanted to scream. Tell her that, no mom. Your son isn't back. Your son, the one that wanted to live, was left to die on the roof of the hospital his sister is dying in. This man that came, is just a shadow of the man he is now.
He is all that remains.
But I couldn't do that, could I?
I had to be strong for my mum. Like i had always been. Be the tough man, no matter how much that kills me. I have always been a giver, warm and loving. Even as a child I never cried, seeking to make others happy. Often people sought me in times of trouble and I gave all I had - my whole heart and showered love upon them.
