XAVIER'S POV
"What's taking Ophelia so long?"
I looked at my mum who was rubbing her forehead while speaking. I just can't believe what my mum must be going through. She just met her daughter after almost six years. And she might be taken away from her so soon.
"I don't know. I would go and check but it's a hospital and there might be other women in the washroom too."
She nodded and sat back.
"You know, what she is doing for us is too good. After- uhh- after this wh- whole surgery is over and I hope things get back normal, we should invite her over."
I nodded and sat back. I was past the point of panicking. All that resided inside me was worry and a quiet fear. It didn't make ma=e shake my leg or bite my nails.
No.
This quiet fear was like those people on the inside working for someone else. They are quiet but do their damage and don't leave before the damage is done.
