XAVIER'S POV
"Wait a minute! Wh-What do you mean, Alexander?
I waited for him to reply, while cautiously lowering my voice. I didn't know how thick these walls were and I didn't want to wake Ophelia up.
She looked at peace, even though I knew she wasn't.
I wanted to know is she believed the harsh words that came out of my mouth. I wish she didn't but a part within me knew she did. Ophelia was smart. At least most of the times. So she didn't let her emotions control her decisions. But in the times that she did let her emotions get the best of her, it took a lot of time and patience, to get her out of the hole she dug for herself. It was a toxic trait of hers, and I knew it wasn't easy to deal with.
Not to be dealt by me. I would accept any trait of hers.
