Atelier pushes through the doors and enters a crowded street. There are people, and there are dragons, but they pay her no heed. She watches a little girl chase after her equally tiny dragon friend, two ladies balancing pails on their heads, cursing at her when she nearly bumps into them, and a group of men having a heated discussion across the road.
She recognises one of them to be Tao, and he seems to be in trouble. She hurries over.
"Tao!" she yells, manoeuvring through the busy street.
The guardian doesn't hear her calling, but she hears him clear enough.
"I told you – this is a mistake. My friend made a mistake. I'm supposed to be at the citadel. I'm here to see your general –"
"Oh yeah? So pray tell; how did you end up in my daughter's room? And while she was getting dressed! You –"
"Hey, what's going on here?" Atelier asks when she finally reaches the group.
