Chereads / Bad Boy's Girl... / Chapter 4 - Hate Me

Chapter 4 - Hate Me

When I saw Chase hitting Jackie I was scared.

Guys can't hit girls!

What amazed me was how strong Jackie was to support all of those punches.

I slapped him because he deserved it.

I know that I am playing with fire.

But I didn't care at that moment.

I'm not scared of him.

Even though he has all the power to ruin my life.

Now I'm having second thoughts in attending this school.

While I waited for Jackie to come out of the nurse's office I just sat outside reading a book.

I felt people in front of me so I looked up.

Three beautiful girls were eyeballing me all mean like.

"Can I help y'all?" I asked.

"Are you Amelia Edwards?" said the girl with blonde hair.

"Yes, why do you ask?" I replied.

I was grabbed by my arms and slammed against the lockers.

Ouch...

My head was throbbing the impact was very strong.

"So you are the girl that's roommates with my Ace," said the girl with light brown hair.

"What do you want from me?" I said struggling against her friends.

"Listen very closely, sweetheart I want you to back off from him because he is mine!" growled the girl.

"I'm not interested in your "Ace" Im just girl like you guys who wants to attend this school," I said glaring at them.

"Please dear you a girl like us? Ha! You don't belong here so pack your things and go back to that hole you came from!" cackled the girl with black hair.

"If you get near him I will make your life miserable," said the leader of the group.

I was all alone with no one to help me.

Those words they were telling me were hurtful.

"April! Leave her alone!" yelled a guy.

"Not now Tyler!" said April through gritted teeth.

"Let that girl alone unless you want me to tell Chase," said Tyler giving her a look.

April's face paled and she quickly told her friends to stop.

"Let's go, girls, we don't have time to deal with losers like her," said April giving me a dirty look.

Her friends laughed and they left.

My whole body was shaking I fell on my knees trembling.

"Are you okay?" said Tyler.

"I'm fine you didn't have to help me," I said.

"Believe me if I wouldn't have helped you with Mira and Alexia it would've gotten way worse"

I looked at the floor.

"Thank you though," I said.

"No problem," said Tyler smiling at me.

He extended his hand at me.

Shyly I took it and thanked him once again.

"You are popular aren't you?" I asked.

"Yeah, except I'm not like the rest of the guys that can be crueler sometimes" He replied.

"Listen, Amelia, I would suggest you be careful with Ace he can be really rough even when it comes to girls," said Tyler seriously.

"I'll be fine," I said nodding.

"If you need anything just tell me" whispered Tyler.

I smiled and nodded.

"Catch ya later!" said Tyler waving and leaving.

I waved back and grinned like an idiot.

That's how I react when I'm around guys.

At least someone was nice to me.

"Amy?"

"Jackie! Are you feeling better?"

"Eh I've felt worse," said Jackie.

"I didn't think It would be that bad," I said grimacing.

Jackie shrugged.

"Do you need help carrying your books or?" I volunteered.

Jackie waved the offer away "I can manage"

"Fair enough," I said.

During the rest of the school day, I tried not to think about what April told me.

I'll make your life miserable...

I shook my head and stood up tall.

I won't let the words of a pretty barbie doll girl hurt me.

Even though I have a lot of people who dislike me already.

I sighed this was going to be a long year.

When the final bell rang I passed by the pool.

Yes, this school has a pool and a tennis yard!

Nobody was there so I decided to sit and listen to music for a while.

Why was I doing this?

Because I don't want to bump into my roommate who hates me.

I heard movement.

I got up and looked around.

That's odd I clearly saw nobody here.

Sitting back down I continued to wait till I heard no one in the hallways.

When the coast was clear I got up and started walking towards the exit doors.

The lights went out and I froze dead in my tracks.

"Hello? Is anybody there?" I yelled out.

Now, this wasn't funny.

Silence answered me.

I gulped and tried to find my way out.

I ended up tripping against something or someone and falling with a splash onto the pool.

I ascended and gasped for air.

Oh no! I don't know how to swim!

"Help! Help! Somebody help me please!" I screamed.

I began trashing trying to swim to shore.

One thing I forgot to mention is that the pool is about eight feet deep.

I was going to die drowning.

"Help! Please, anybody!" I screamed again my voice breaking a little.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

I tried to swim once more getting nowhere.

Why couldn't I swim?

An accident that pierced my life very deeply.

When I was a girl my parents lived close to a beach.

One time I ended up running off and swimming in the ocean.

The problem was that the waves were wild that day.

I was being taken away by the waves.

I drowned that day but my father saved me.

I shouldn't be living right now.

Now I was going through the same stage again.

My strength was gone my eyes were closing.

I had swallowed to much water.

I went under.

This time with no chances of getting up ever again.

I felt cold all over.

Cold...

Wait why do I feel warm?
