Despite her intensive training over the winter break, Wrath still had difficulties to consistently and confidently show off her new abilities. In just a few weeks, a new school term would start. This meant that she would have extra work to do and less time in a day to practice. But the silver lining of the situation was that half of her friends would have left town by then. She was certain that whatever chaos was going to happen, it wouldn't spread as far as the next town.
Her enemies would most likely be guarding areas with active sigils. With the portals awakened, they would have to either open one of their own to counter them or kill the summoner. Wrath knew that they would be leaning more towards the former. Eve's fragile state of being made it clearer for the purple-haired prodigy that nobody was going to risk going against her.
