Following the reasoning of God goes beyond logic; it is a thing of faith that will hardly make sense. You need the revelation of God to catch the life of God's reasoning. How would you see the enemies closing up on you to attack you, and the Lord is telling you to stand still, will you stand? In your reason, you will not think, God is telling you to stand still, so that He will be able to spot His own amidst battle field and once His eyes are on you, nothing can do you harm and that is why obedience is very key when dealing with God. In order to understand God's reasoning, obedience is the light to illuminate your understanding.
Isaiah 55: 8
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD.
As a Christian, you might be thinking your ways is God's way, but God may be thinking something very different. God's way is not to prove to the Muslims that their ways are wrong, but to love them and not to stop telling them the truth, even when they persecute you as Christian, it is simply a true test of your faith and the Bible cannot lie and if you must remain in the mind of God, you must change your mindset and don't stop telling those who persecute us for the sake of the truth, the truth in love and if you don't know the gospel is peace, you know nothing, because your religion is far from the message of God, which is love. When the Bible says, "We should not be equally yoked with the unbeliever," it simply means we should not do what they do and not imitate their lifestyle. It does not restrict us from first loving them and then administering the gospel of peace in truth to them with the message of love. It is not of God for us to administer the gospel of that stirs up war which could be by condemnation of their belief which will provoke them to anger, even when you don't administer the gospel of condemnation, the truth is, you cannot stop their anger, it is inherent as their make up, but that should not stop you, even when they attack you. You need your weapon and that is the whole armor of God. Do not leave behind, hope, faith, and truth and most importantly love.
1 Peter 4: 16
Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.
Matthew 5: 43 – 48
"You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you that you may be sons of your Father in heaven, for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends ruin on the just and the unjust for if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even tax collectors do the same? And if you greet your brethren only, what do you do more than others? Do not even tax collectors do so? Therefore, you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.
Look at Jesus' teaching His very nature as God which reflects His attribute as Ever merciful, ever loving, ever forgiving and Ever Gracious God, but I am amazed that Muhammad taught the contrary to his followers, even when what was stated in Quran points all the good attribute of God, I therefore ask, if this be the case, which God is Muhammad referring to as being the one and only God? is this not still clear?
Quran 8: 12, 61
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message), "I am with you, give firmness to the Believers, I will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers, smite ye above their necks and smite all their fingers tip off them. But if the enemy incline toward peace, do thou (also) incline towards peace, and trust in God; for He is One that hears and knows (all things).
One thing people have not understood is the definition of peace to Islam and Christians. If Islam is talking about peace is simply, identifying with their beliefs and changing your mind from what you have believed, but in the case of Christians, it is not so, it is simply accepting the difference despite the never aligning ground of belief, that is why, when there is a dialogue between the Christians and Muslims, the Muslims will only come to term with Christians if the Christians dances to the tune as in the dictate of their hearts. Muslims don't care about the law, but will do everything to make sure people don't break the law. It is just like passing a bill which has become a law and an individual will stand up and resist it, and the Federal Government who is the custodian of the law will not bring the person to book for violating the law, such that those who keep the law end up suffering for those who don't keep the law. This is the system we have found ourselves, but the truth will still prevail, no matter what.
Quran 60: 8, 9
God forbid you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) faith, nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them, for God loves those who are just. God only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) faith and drive you out of your homes and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances) that do wrong.
The reason of God is simply the way into His mind (John 14: 6).
The reality of Islam is not even with what is being read from the Quran as written because in the spiritual context, it may be misinterpreted by any person, but with what we see that is being practiced as regarding what they called unbelievers.
Christians might be misinterpreting to interpret Muslims, just the way the Muslims will be misinterpreting to interpret Christians and from this, it became obvious that we have one common enemy who is causing confusion so that we will never agree and that enemy is the devil who makes us not to tolerate each other. Some of the Scriptures I discovered that Muslims are misinterpreting are
Matthew 10: 34, 35
Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword for I have come to turn, "a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter in law against her mother in law."
One thing the Muslims will forget is the fundamental definition of spiritual things as regarding the manifestation of the attitude that was painted when symbolic expressions are used. Let's start by asking the questions
• What is sword?
• What struggle is Jesus referring to as portrayed with the statement, "I did not come to bring peace"?
Ephesians 6: 17
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the spirit which is the Word of God.
Therefore, the sword that Jesus talking about is the Word of God which is the only weapon to do the spiritual fight, since He is trying to point us back to the place of our original identity in Him to prove to us that we are not carnal being, but spiritual being made in His image in accordance to His likeness.
The sword that Jesus meant is the place of peace emphasizes the weapon of truth against falsehood which is the savior words, since people have become comfortable within their brainwashed mindset. This simply explain the struggle between the spirit and the flesh, manifesting as truth resisting falsehood, even as falsehood opposes harder, much more with literal violence.
Ephesians 6: 12
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.
The implication of Jesus' coming in this sense is emphasizing the battle in the realm of the spirit and (old testament have a clearer picture of it (Psalm 24: 7-10)) and Jesus was symbolically directly talking to ancients gates, which are portal into the spirit and mind of man to bring them under subjection and that gate is the portal into the pit of hell where devil is and where demons are being released from as the thoughts of the devil, that comes to intimate with our thoughts to spur up certain feelings such as bitterness, grieve, hurts, unforgiveness, resentment, malice, etc. with the aim to bring one under subjection. Demon of bitterness, unforgiveness, strive, jealousy, malice, hatred, etc, are weapons that the devil uses against us, such that we will end up shooting ourselves, expecting the person we have in mind to get hurt, and when this thoughts can no longer be controlled, that is when literal violence is birthed and you end up seeing all kind of unimaginable wickedness being perpetuated amongst ourselves. The world is driven by lusts and what Jesus Christ came to install is against the flesh, to the flesh it is war, to the spirit it is peace. If you are full of lusts, you are lost.
