(It was my real story.)
She woke up as early as 4 o'clock in the morning after having a very long dream. She's alone in that very small room and beside it was her favorite dim light enough for her to see everything.
She couldn't sleep well in the too dark environment, as if she'll be having nightmares. Thus, she managed to bring a little portable light beside her every time. And at times, she would just leave the very bright fluorescent light on, even it's too bright as daylight, still she could sleep with it, she had used to have it lately compared to her younger years when she cannot sleep at all even it's only a glimpse of the light shimmering from the outside.
It's too early yet to prepare for work, so she dozed off again and fell to another dream, her usual routine. Having no dreams in her sleep is a strange thing to her. It's already part of her life, part of her sleep. At times, in her sleep, it seemed there's a melody helping her to sleep deeply through the good music she kept on hearing, she will be put to a very deep sleep. At times there were such unknown songs that were too old she hadn't heard it ever since in her whole life. But the lyrics of it brought a meaningful message to her, to understand her current situation and most of the time to understand others - as if someone was having that kind of feeling at that moment. It brought a variety of emotions - happiness, sadness, and inspiration.
She will just remember some lyrics of it and will find a way to know its title by browsing it through her phone through the internet. Those songs did help her, especially in her sad moment, she will be lifted up through it, helping her to remember the things that matter most. And at certain times, it forewarned her about her day ahead at work otherwise gave her a message regarding the kind of emotions she may be having on that day.
She fell asleep again at around 5'oclock in the morning. She had a strange dream again, it seemed it's a continuation of everything. Something stuck on the upper part of her molar tooth. She pulled it out and found that it's a long scroll of paper. She unrolled it and saw a colorful image imprinted on it. The image showed the soldiers each holding a sword wearing an ancient attire. They were the soldiers of God and she's shocked, among them was her.
Then her alarm sounded and she woke up.
