Chapter 2 - The wedding

I began to get ready for my wedding of terror, the day i was most dreading among all other days. My father picked two beautiful gowns for me to choose from for my big day. One with gold strung along it with the finest of silk, the second a full gown with silver hanging around the skirt of the dress making it look more sophisticated, this one was my father's favorite choice. I picked the gold one, it being my favorite design and color. As my maid helped get me fitted for the wedding ceremony. warm tears are falling from my face, not from joy yet from dread and depression. I felt overwhelmed, my choker making it feel as though a noose had been tied around my neck for beauty. My hair tight up in a beautiful bun with beads rung around it, felt as though it was a weight on my head crushing my head. The corset around me blocked my air from getting through i was almost to big for this dress, even though i was believed to be anorexic from the lack of food. It was time, the time i get to marry the man i never wanted to see again. As i descended the stair case careful not to slip or faint in front of this audience. Once i got to the bottom of the stairs, i was expected to gracefully walk down to King. As i began to walk my legs and hands started shaking making it difficult for me to stay up right. I blacked out not remembering a single part of the ceremony. I came back into conscience, in a carriage hand in hand with King. We had already married? "King, may i ask which kingdom you are from?" He nodded with a daring yet handsome smile. "I am from the kingdom of Witcher, I'm glad you are okay m'lady" what was he talking about? Did something happen to me? I couldnt do anything but wonder in that moment of being awake. Drifting off into a slumber, i felt my head softly fall on Kings shoulder. "Goodnight m'lady" i heard him whisper before completely dozing off. When i awoke King was asleep, I decided to look at him closer than i had in the dining room. He had sharp features, his lips looked softer than a feather and his jaw was sharp almost like a sharpened tooth. He was definitely the most handsome man i have ever seen, other than my father and servants, he is the only man I've ever seen. He is my King, there is no denying i was falling for this man.
