The boy didn't know what was happening.
Strange rumblings that started not too long and yelling that made him scurry into a corner. He stayed and waited. Did the heros come? Most likely.
A new sense of undeniable hope flooded over him. Maybe, if he stayed they'll come him. Eri would be safe and they'll escape this prison together. He smiled, continuing to wait as things went on.
The heros will save them! Is All Might here? That'll be so cool! Other hero's with cool quirks and he'll know them. Eri will be safe! We'll both be safe!
The boy waited.
And he w̴a̶i̵t̷e̸d̷ ̶
He waited.
The boy was quiet as he listened. Footsteps, quiet footsteps that he could hear that were getting closer. The boy struggled to stand as pain shot through his leg in an effort to stand upright.
The door opened. The boy stared at two other men with parted lips and eyes that fell dead. He felt himself š̶͕̺͋͂h̵̗͌́͠ǎ̶̪̬t̸̠̹̗́͘͝͝t̴̛̳͍͐e̵̡͎̎̍̈́r̸̭̈́. He blinked slowly and grabbed the thin, paper like material of his shirt.
He closed his mouth and the light burning at the corner of his eyes became more and more noticeable to him. The boy leaned up against the wall and let out a shaky breath as a man walked towards him.
The man towered over the small boy. Eyes shadowed by bangs as he roughly grabbed the boy's arm and dragged him out. The boy let out a quiet sob as he began to tug back desperately.
"Stop that brat!" The unknown man growled as he dragged him through the hallways. As they turned a corner, others began to show up. Briefcases and boxes filled with the unknown as different people pushed and drag him. The boy flinched and cried, whispering questions and single words of mercy.
The stinging feeling in his eyes didn't go away when he paused. The boy's breathing slowed and he looked down at his feet.
The heros didn't come to get him. The heros didn't care. Did they just not know? The halls of this prison suddenly felt so foreign to him. He pursed his lips together and choked back an empty cry.
The feeling of overwhelming hollowness. He felt so empty. Eri was gone and who knows what happened to Overhaul.
The heart beating in the boy's chest thumped louder. He could hear it in his skull. Tears building up in his eyes, and the boy shuts down completely. Green, dull eyes seemed to staring at nothing as the people drag him somewhere. He doesn't know where. He wasn't paying attention.
They put him in the trunk of something, and speed off as quietly as they can somehow. There were no heros where they were. That's pretty much all the boy could tell.

He closed his mouth and held his hand over it. The bumps on the road sickened him. Saliva and spit building up in his mouth and forming under his tongue. He hadn't eaten at all, so the disgusting burning of stomach acid left his mouth and onto the car. He felt sick. The movement of the car continued. I'm lonely. I'm in agony. I'm tired. I'm sorry. I'm in pain. The boy heard a snap.
